With so many issues I've had with Asus, gigabytes AM5 motherboards have amazed me! This is the best B650e chipset motherboard I've worked with! It's the most stable I've used, the all white layout is beautiful and the price is amazing considering it's high speed PCIE gen 5 support for GPUs and storage, the VRM heatsinks and VRMs are amazing and help push performance past the limit for better performance and stable at that! The USB support is great with the only thing I'd like to see being more USB-C support but there's plenty support already! I've paired some obscure memory with it that's worked flawlessly! As with AM5, stick to 2 sticks for dual channel memory support. The boot times along with the memory support are some of the best I've seen in the b650 series of motherboards. Great for overclocking and maintaining great system stability! I was able to overclock a Ryzen 9 7900 (non-x) to meet the performance of the 7900X ... show more

Muy buen producto, sin embargo recomiendo altamente verificar bien cuáles son las memorias RAM testeadas en esta placa base, sugiero que antes de hacer overclock o lo que sea que vayan a modificar primero deben obligatoriamente actualizar la BIOS, como siempre se ha hecho solo que ahora es más importante hacerlo. El producto me funciona, eso sí, no encontrarán muchas reviews en internet o youtube acerca de este modelo ya que su BIOS es distinta al resto y en algunos aspectos la estoy aprendiendo a usar aún. Buen producto. EDIT: Be very careful buying motherboards when talking about the Rams they can work with. So many people have problems with the configuration if is XMP or EXPO so this thing is important. Even when memories recomended by the MB developer there can be problems. If your are seeing this comment i'll tell you to buy some another brand. Works great with Ryzen 7 9700X

Motherboard works great with the newer Ryzen 7 9700X processor, but a BIOS upgrade might be necessary if the one installed is old. It is possible to update the BIOS of the motherboard without a working processor by using the "Q-Flash Plus" feature and installing a BIOS newer than the F30 version (latest one at the time of writing this is F34g) One other "gotcha" thing to keep in mind is that this MB has 3 NVME slots, and which one to use might not be clear. If you look into the MB manual (session 1-2 "Motherboard Block Diagram"), one should avoid using the M2A_CPU slot if you intend to use an external video card, as that slot shares the PCIe bus with the main PCIe slot. With that the video card would only work with x8 PCIe lanes instead of the x16 that you probably want; so read the external GPU specs to figure out how many lanes it requires (most good ones will require the x16). With Ryzen 7 9700X using the M2B_CPU slot is the better option as that CPU has those PCIe lanes available and these are not shared between the GPU and the NVME SSD. The third slot, M2C_SB, should "just work" with all processors and video card combinations, but it will go through the MB chipset instead of directly connecting to the CPU so performance might not be the best Hope these points could help some people out there that are building a PC with this MB! ... show more

Worst Motherboard I’ve Ever Used – Avoid This One

Wish I could give it 0 stars, I know this board looks nice because it’s white, but that’s literally the only good thing about it. I spent hours every day just trying to get it to boot. Here’s what I dealt with: Constant CPU → DRAM boot loops Cold boots never worked — every morning it refused to turn on Keyboard and monitor wouldn’t wake up Memory training took forever and usually failed EXPO kept breaking the entire system Even at stock 4800MHz, it still wouldn’t stabilize BIOS felt confusing, inconsistent, and half-finished Q-Flash had to be used multiple times just to recover the board It got to the point where I was FIXING MY PC more than using it. I replaced this board with an MSI B650 Tomahawk, moved the exact same parts over, and: Booted first try EXPO worked instantly No boot loops No DRAM light No issues at all So it wasn’t my RAM, CPU, SSD, GPU—it was 100% this motherboard. If you’re using DDR5 or want a PC that actually turns on reliably, do NOT buy this board. Being the only white B650E available is not worth the headaches. ... show more

Very good price to performance

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The Gigabyte Aorus line of motherboards gives you a lot of capabilities for the price. I chose the AX Ice to fit my aesthetic requirements and fairly easy of us in the BIOS menus. I do appreciate the large VRMs for cooling and the oversized heatsink plate for adding more than one M.2 SSD. All the connectors I need on the face and more than enough for my needs on the rear IO. 4 stars only because mine was shipped with the original BIOS and had to update it myself, BUT QFlash works great. Tons of IO, so many USB ports, plenty of connectivity. Build quality is solid, looks great too. All around solid board.

Looks great but...

Great value for money and looks fantastic. However, the big brother - x670e - version of this board is often on sale for only around $20 more. If the x670e is not in stock than this is a great option with only a few minor changes: Less usb ports on io 8+4 pin cpu connector vs 8+8. If you're a heavy overclocker beware Wifi 6e vs wifi 7 One less nvme ssd slot (3 vs 4) If you're on windows 10, GET THIS OVER THE 670E variant. The wifi drivers for that board will NOT work on windows 10! One minor issue was the bios update but after I got that squared away it was good to go. Overall cautious but satisfied. Will update if anything changes ... show more
