I originally bought two of these for my kids to use with their paint supplies but I ended up taking them back and using one for my cat’s food and water bowl and used the other one to sit next to my stove as a large silicone space for kids and utensils while cooking. All 3 of the ways I’ve used them have worked great. They clean well and are non slip. Neither one of them have stained or ripped or anything like that so they’ve outlasted my cats pawing at them trying to move it and since it won’t budge, it doesn’t make their water dish spill over either. 10/10 ... show more

Although I was satisfied with my previous mat, I loved the idea that these came in several sizes and I could get one wide enough to fit my cat's water fountain on the same mat as his food (instead of it being on the floor, off the mat). I also loved that it came in tons of colors so I could match it to my kitchen. What I did not realize was that it's soft/flexible and very lightweight (it came rolled up in the package) and kind of flimsy. It doesn't seem durable. This makes it a bit difficult to lift up for cleaning or bringing to the sink. You have to carefully hold both sides to ensure any food on it doesn't slide off. My previous mat could never be rolled up; it was sturdy and easy/safe to lift up and move around. See pic showing how it's foldable. This may be an asset for some people (but not for me). I didn't buy this for a pet. Instead, I am using it for my coffee pot setup. I needed something that could handle heat and spills and not ruin the wood surface beneath it. Solid product, I wish i had measured it before buying but i hadn’t received the automatic cat feeder when I made the purchase so i couldn’t really have known. if you have an automatic water fountain and pet feeder, this might be too small. I thought that the XL would make it big enough but overall that’s my mistake. good product for what it is ... show more

I am in love with this mat. I know it sounds like a lot of emotion for such a small item, BUT if you enjoy mopping up water or finding bits and pieces of food everywhere, this feedback is not for you. Our dogs are a very important part of our lives, and we do not cut corners. I ordered the eggplant, and it looks great. It's deep enough that the water and food stay inside, and it stays in place. I must say it came rolled, and I figured it was the packaging to hide how cheap the product was. I was wrong. It's of good quality and flexibility. This will work great for our family when we go for visits, driving or flying. I will be ordering more for our RV and for Christmas gifts. I like this product. I should have ordered the larger size. The large bowls fit nicely but I would prefer more room for water drippage. I also noticed the water makes white spots on the mat. Maybe a lighter colored mat would prevent this. The product works great and I will buy another one, just wider next time. ... show more
