This is exactly as advertised. Assembly was not diffiucult. It is possible with one but way smoother with two. The chicken wire is average quality. This product gets 5 stars for being good qaulity and as advertised. I would suggest opting for one that is built with hardware cloth instead of chicken wire if you are.looking for security but this is a great enclosure. Also, the tarp has been through a couple of severe thunderstorms and has held up fine. There are plenty of zip ties so you can place them as suggested. I suggeat wrapping the chiken wire completely around the door instead of cutting it on the latching edge/side. This will allow for smooth operation of the door. I know this one does not have the angled support bars in the corners but it still feels very sturdy. I have a lot of wind where I am and it shows no signs of stress or bending even during storms. This is a good product at a good price.

Perfect chicken run! It's big enough to put my chicken coop inside, food and water as well as my chicks to roam around. There's plenty of room. My 16 year old daughter and I put this run together. The frame was super easy. Just follow the directions which were self explanatory. Took about 20 minutes, easy peasy. The part that was time consuming was the screen but the screen size and the frame size fit perfectly, just measure and cut. We measured using the screen to frame, no measuring tape needed. It took us 5 long cuts and tied them to the frame. The door area was tricky but not difficult. We had a bit of screen left over if we needed to patch up any rips in the future. I did purchase trampoline stakes to hold down the frame for extra protection during windy days although the kit did have smaller stakes to put into the poles. I just wanted extra protection since we get crazy winds at times. I do have to mention that we don't have any predators; hawks, raccoons, etc., since we live in the suburbs and our backyard is fenced which made this run perfect for our chickens. However, I'm thinking if you are wanting to protect your chicks from predators, other measures should be taken under consideration. It can be done with hardware cloth, burying it under ground, add an another lock on the door, etc. I do love the cover for the top of the run. I attached it to where the coop is and it has helped during the rain. I'm waiting for our snow to come but I'm sure that will be fine since it is made out of tough material, not flimsy cheap stuff. This has been the perfect solution for my backyard chickens. I really love it and so does my chicks!!!

Easy to put together. I did it alone over the course of a couple days. I did choose to reinforce with additional smaller wire and metal zip ties. I also added shade cloth to roof. We have lots of big wild life including bears, foxes, Bob cats, opossum and all other kinds of chicken lovers. So far it holds up to stormy weather, my baby chicks love it and it is tall enough to stand in.

Received the product on time, 2 boxes as expected. Used a wagon to transport to the setup location, suggest 2 people or something to help you move as they are heavy. Setup of the frame was extremely easy. Did not need 2 people (Although I am 6' and tall enough to reach center tall frame points. Everything clicked together quite easily, no issues with frame at all. Could tell it was not as flimsy as other products out there, the 1.25" and increased thickness will surely hold up better in what can be a windy south florida. Finding flat ground is going to be important for the frame to sit flat, however even on a slight uneven ground the frame still work perfectly. The two person job comes when you have to put on the chicken wire. As others have mentioned, this job takes longer than setting up the frame. Suggest to just get a few zip ties on each piece and after all chicken wire is up, go back and tighten up everything. Overall enough wire to wrap the entire frame, but you won't have much extra if any at all. Don't waste it during install. I did run into a slight issue during installation, however HITTITE was extremely responsive and was able to provide a solution to the issue. I can't stress enough how helpful HITTITE was to me during this process. Not only do they have a great product here that is easy to set up, but they clearly stand behind their product. It's nice to have your cake and eat it too! I would definitely recommend this product, i'm using it as a chicken run. Note the chicken wire is great to keep your chickens in, but will not keep predators out. If you have a predator area, suggest to reinforce areas with hardware cloth or other products. All in all very satisfied with the product and vendor!

Overall we like it. Wasn not hard to put together. Will contain the chickens well. Mine go up in a coop at night for safety. What we didn’t like about it is the zip ties hold the wire. We ordered metal ones to secure it better. Texas weather will try rot them fast. Took us 3.5 hrs to put together.

Arrived in 3 days in a large, VERY heavy box. The tubing was well finished and burr free, easy to assemble and it becomes rigid once the wire is stretched into place over it. The included 1" hexagonal wire is good quality with a green PVC coating for longevity. Other reviewers claim this wire is cheap and useless, but it is no different than what you would buy at a feed store or Home Depot. A coyote, fox or racoon could probably chew through it, with some effort and a weasel or ring-trail cat could easily get through the 1" hex wiring. To keep out the smaller varmints, I wrapped my enclosure with 1/4 inch galvanized steel cloth and then went 2" beyond cage under the soil to prevent digging underneath. The combination of that, doubled with the 1" hex wire, should keep out any predators, except maybe a bear that could potentially lift up the poles from the bottom so make sure to anchor those down in multiple places with deeply set stakes. An electric wire would be the final step to keep bears away, should they be a problem. Must use steel zip ties instead of supplied plastic zip ties. I used the plastic zip ties to put the fence together and keep in place, while stretching over the corners. Once in place, then I used the stainless steel zip ties (which cost $10 on Amazon for 100 count). The gate area has gaps large enough for a skunk or weasel to squeeze through so make sure to strap in an extra pole to fill the gap, or have some extra hardware cloth to extend beyond the opening area and pin it down with a rod. Overall, this is good quality product and a much better value compared to what you see at Tractor Supply. Predator resistant, but predator proof as it arrives though, but it can be made that way with more reenforcing wire. I expect this enclosure will last for decades. It's well built.
