I waited a while to write this review to ensure the clock didn't die early, since some reviewers reported this problem. I am happy to report that the clock continues to perform beautifully. I used to have a ticking clock and kind of liked the dull sound of it, and I wasn't sure I would like the silent clock; but this clock is just great. I like the smooth flowing second hand. It looks great, works great. What else can you say? Even the temperature and hygrometer work and stay surprisingly close to a weather station I have nearby that I trust. Bought this to put in my reloading room. Perfectly quiet! So sick of the second hands that are on my watches and clocks at home. This one sweeps around in a nice smooth motion. No big deal I guess but I find it more pleasing than the others. Because I need to keep the humidity at a certain level I have a humidistat and the one on the clock to compare it to now. The thermometer is a bonus. All and all a great buy. Hasn't gained or lost a second in a month now and looks great. I may get anoher with the green REMINGTON face. ... show more
