I just had my home theater upgraded but I originally planned to purchase a long throw projector with a motorized screen that hangs from the ceiling. I contacted a local company that specializes in home theaters and during my initial site visit, the owner of the company didn't recommend this, due to the size of my room and would be too costly to run HDMI cables and mounting the projector my ceiling; he suggested for me to purchase a 75 inch TV. I just happened to do a search on the cost of Ultra Short Throw Projectors and the Hisense PL1 was listed first and the price wasn't that expensive, less than $2000.00. My 55 inch TV is a Hisense and it's an awesome TV and I'm familiar with the functionality, therefore I decided to purchase the PL1. I could barely see the laser lights projecting my images to my screen. BTW I have a 100 inch ALR 16:9 projector screen, which I highly recommend. The picture is beautiful and bright, much better than my 55 inch, which I moved to my bedroom. Watching movies are so immersive, it feels like I'm in a commercial movie theater. Because of my Hisense PL1 projector, I have a true home theater!!

This is my first short throw laser project so I don’t have much to compare to other than regular flat screen TVs and just a cheap overhead projector that I’ve had. That being said, very impressed with this little unit. I set it up for a 120” screen with a Silver Ticket ALR screen. The screen made a big difference when compared to just shining on the wall, as I received the projector before the screen and wanted to try it out before getting the screen set up. The screen makes a big difference, especially with the room lit. The projector really shows off in a darker room though, but I’ll have no problem watching daytime football games in a well lit room with this thing as well. It should be noted that to make a 120” screen, the thing has to be fairly low to the ground if you don’t have an incredibly high ceiling. Mine is in the basement and the ceiling is probably 9’ high. The projector is on a short stand that I found and is about 16” tall. It also has to sit about a foot and a half away from the wall to make the screen that big. If that’s ok with you, this thing is incredible, especially for the price. While shopping around, I obviously found many that were far more expensive. They may be better, but for twice the price? Probably not twice as good. The 4K looks amazing on a screen this size. Setup was very easy. Adjusting the screen size and the corner points is pretty self explanatory, just takes some playing with the positioning of the unit. And the screen adjustment settings. If you bump it or need to move it, getting it back to where you had it is very simple. I’ve always had Apple TV systems for my other TVs, this uses the google play system which functions very similarly. No real complaints with that. Overall, for an entry level short throw projector with options for a very large screen, I can’t imagine much better for this price point.

Altamente recomendado. Triple láser. Dolby Atmos y Dolby Vision. Se obtiene una experiencia de cine por el tamaño de 120”, completamente diferente a los TV (los nuestros Oled de 65” e inferiores). Con una sencilla calibración mejora la proyección de la imagen de acuerdo a nuestro gusto. Se enlaza fácilmente por Bluetooth con la barra de sonido o si deseamos un sonido más envolvente por HDMI eARC, el sonido del proyector es también bueno. Tiene todas las Apps que uno usualmente utiliza, excepto Netflix, pero lo solucionamos con un APPLE TV. Funciona y se ve muy bien con videojuegos. Observaciónes: No hay quejas en comparación con los Oled, esto da una idea de la calidad del proyector funcionando en la oscuridad y sin pantalla. Este proyector tiene Dolby Visión (fotos) aunque originalmente no lo trae de fábrica, pero se debe instalar mediante USB y con esta actualización mejorará notablemente la calidad de la imagen o prácticamente no se necesita calibrar. Este es nuestro primer proyector el HISENSE PX1 2000 ANSI y podemos decir en general que es una buena compra, ya no queremos ver películas en los Oled. Este TV Laser es excelente justifica tratar de conseguir la pantalla. Actualización: Para los amantes del cine la pantalla (Nothing projector black series) es el mejor complemento e inversión.

After reading a bunch of positive reviews I purchased the PX1-PRO on 1/21/2022. Approximately 1 year later a dead pixel popped up. I used a pixel fix on YouTube that worked once but quickly came back in the same spot. Mind you this projector gets used once or twice a week, if that. I emailed hisense multiple times with no response. I called them a handful of times and nothing. Their automated customer service is the worse. So now I believe I'm out of warranty. Yea the projector still works but for the $3500 I initially paid for it I didn't expect this issue so soon. Highly disappointed with Hisense especially after all the positive reviews I've watched and read prior to purchasing. Never Again, Hisense 🚫

The media could not be loaded. Amazing picture quality, video shot on white wall. I have the projector screen as well just need to make time. I don't use the internal speakers but there are pretty loud. In the video I'm using a sounds bar.
