I replaced blinds for our entire home (6 of them ranging from 47 inches wide to 71 inches wide, 46 inches tall to 58 inches tall). 3 of them had light filtering shades and the other 3 had blackout shades TL;DR: 1. These blinds are very easy to install 2. Hiladuo pairs the remotes for you. Please note that channel numbers are unique per blind, no matter how many remotes you buy. 3. Windows look like rectangles to the naked eye, but they are technically more of a trapezoid, so take 3 measurements (top, middle, bottom) and use the lowest value. 4. If you mess up with measurements (like I did), I reached them out via Amazon's "Contact Seller" (or Problem with Order in desktop) and Hiladuo responded back in minutes (even on weekends) and kindly adjusted the blind width. Ordering process: There are lot of technical terms such as "valance". If you don't know what they are, please google. Overall it was very easy to order blinds from amazon portal (use desktop honestly). Make sure to take 3 measurements for each window (top, middle and bottom) and use the lowest value for width and height. Shipping: The order arrived at least 5 days before Amazon's estimates Unboxing: I had ordered 6 blinds, so there were 6 boxes. Remote controls (batteries included) and hooks / screws / charging cables / etc. for installation along with instructions were crammed in a single box. So make sure to check all boxes and one would be marked with "installation materials included". The packaging was very good with bubble wraps to protect the blinds. Installation: This was the easiest. They have a youtube video explaining the installation process. Operation: 1. Turn on the motor. There is a tiny switch to do that. These blinds are already charged and need to be charged once in six months (for 6 hours). 2. Put batteries in the remote. 3. Look for a small number sticker on the shade - that's the channel number 4. Using the remote sideways arrow keys, go to the channel and press up / down to move the shades. As other buyers may be presented with multiple options here on Amazon, and not knowing which company to make a purchase from, they can delay or even avoid making a large purchase. I need to say this company has been outstanding in communicating and assistive at every point of this transaction, providing me with an outstanding product worthy of showing off to everyone! I purchased a large custom-sized blind with personally selected colors, choosing to get motorized option with a remote and a charging cable; they even let me select what side I got the charging port for the motor. Everything was absolutely great when it arrived! The installation brackets are easy to install, as well as the blind itself. Charging and the remote control are easy! The exact window size I provided, gave me the exact size blind for my window. Perfection! Everything about the product and the company is well-above standard! In my personal experience recently, I've experienced significant financial losses due to poor business standards and poor quality - this is not the case with Hiladuo! I ordered 9 sets of these motorized shades. I was very careful to read their instructions for taking measurements and did a pretty thorough job measuring my windows/sliding doors. I first ordered 2 sets as kind of a trial but obviously hoping they'd work out, and was very impressed with both the quality and the speed in which they arrived (2 days). The remote control setup was quick and easy and works great. I proceeded to order the other 7 sets I needed (and 1 more remote control). Again I was surprised when they came only 2 days later. All were exactly the same quality and every set I installed was perfectly sized to my window/sliding door. Having read other reviews mentioning their great communication I was kind of expecting them to double check my order since I had one surface mount (vs all the others being inside mount), and sure enough they did reach out to double check, which I thought was great. I haven't setup the controls via the app yet so can't speak to that, although I will be setting it up soon because it would be much more convenient for controlling multiple shades than the 2 remotes I have (which have different shades programmed to each). I feel really good about the value on these, I did not get estimates from the companies that come to your home and try to sell you blinds/shades but I'm guessing that would have been twice the cost. Because this was a significant purchase for me and the product delivered on value/quality/ease of process/etc., I feel like this is one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. ... show more
