  • Perfect Fit & Easy to Install
Size: 28.5"W x 36"H Color: White
Very easy to install, with multiple mounting options. Very good quality and price, and fits me 28.5" W x 30" L window perfectly. Works great for blocking light with complete closure between each individual slat. And the cordless feature is so great. It's so easy to use. So happy with this purchase!

  • Very good for the price, great fit for odd sized windows Very good for the price, great fit for odd sized windows
Size: 39.5"W x 48"H Color: White
I live in an older house has really hard to fit windows. Most of them are only 36" tall with a very shallow 1.5" casing depth that's also a little wavy because the walls are plaster. The previous owner had installed cellular shades and I've always hated how the valance stuck out so far past the casing and how hard they are to remove for cleaning. I've never hung blinds before, but installing them was super easy - just mark everything out and drill 2 holes for each bracket. There's a 3rd support bracket included for longer windows but I didn't have to use it. There's a video that shows how to do all of it, but as long as you don't install them upside down it's pretty foolproof. Even snapping the blinds into the brackets was easier compared to the ones that were on there before. It took me about 10-15 minutes each including unpacking everything and reading the instructions. It was also great to be able to order a 48" blind, since most stores only carry a 64" in stock. The manufacturer even included a video with instructions to shorten them. Turns out that there are only a few extra slats at the bottom when they're fully pulled down and it looks ok, so I didn't even need to do that. I like that they're cordless as well. Overall they look clean, fit really nicely and operate well. I would maybe take a fraction of a star off if I could because one of the ends has a slightly rough cut and the top end cap doesn't sit completely flat. But I think that's something only I will ever notice. The same size blinds from the big manufacturers were at least $40-50 more than these, with a longer time to ship. I was able to have these ordered to installed within a few days. I have some more windows that I'll definitely be replacing the old cellular shades with these soon. ... show more

  • Looks fantastic, but a pain in the behind to install for no reason Looks fantastic, but a pain in the behind to install for no reason

Price: Probably about twice what they're actually worth, but with convenience comes higher prices. You can find similar blinds for about $15-$20 in stores, but they were $30 on Amazon. Packaging: Comes in a simple cardboard box like most blinds. Rod is taped to the inside top of box. Everything individual part is in a plastic bag except for the hardware which comes in it's own small box. They come with 2" sheet metal screws...not wood screws which depending on the application will lead to headaches. Quality: Very sturdy. Not flimsy like other blinds. Actually white, not that off-white "alabaster" color. Brackets are thick metal ones that are painted white. These blinds should last for a long time & come with a one year warranty. Install: The instructions aren't stapled & are just unorganized in general. The overall install is fairly simple. Place the brackets where you want, mark the holes with a pencil then use a 3/32 drill bit to make the holes. That process in itself took only a few minutes. The problems came with the screws that were included. As I said they are sheet metal screws & also 2" is overkill (1" to 1-1/4" is more than enough.) Against my instincts I didn't swap them out for actual wood screws. Even with 2.5" length pilot holes drilled, the screws would only go in about halfway before getting stuck & my drill couldn't go any further without stripping them. I opted to finish manually screwing them in with a flat head screwdriver of which it took me about 15-20 minutes...just for ONE bracket. I ended up just going to grab some 1" #8 wood screws with flat countersunk heads instead of trying to use the 2" #8 pan head sheet metal screws the blinds came with. With the new screws I was able to install the bracket in about 10 SECONDS (5 seconds per screw!) The next problem came with clicking the blinds into the brackets themselves. As I said earlier the brackets are thick & sturdy. This creates a problem where the metal refuses to bend enough to click the blinds in. I had to put a ridiculous amount of force (almost my full body weight) just to bend the brackets enough for the blinds to fit. Taking them out was another test & I ended up have to use a flat head screwdriver, inserting it into the bottom bracket hole to pry the bracket open without breaking the blinds. These blinds are definitely not meant to be messed with...once they are installed just leave them be. Overall it took about 45 minutes to an hour to get this one blind install because of the screws & super sturdy, thick bracket that refused to yield enough to click the blinds in. The blinds do seem to block the sunlight a little better than my previous blinds, but definitely nowhere near the level of an actual shade. The quality is great, maybe a little too great in some areas. There is an extra piece that allows you to secure the blinds when it's down (for those that live in windy areas) so that the blinds don't bang against the window & make that annoying noise. ... show more

  • Great product, excellent customer service
Size: 43.25"W x 72"H Color: White
I have purchased MANY of these blinds in a variety of sizes and will continue to buy them as needed for as long as they (or I) exist. I own a 4 unit rental property with original antique (late 1800) woodwork throughout and SO many windows of SO many different sizes. Any size I need - these blinds come in that size (including many sizes I cannot find in any brick and mortar store in my area from any brand.) They're easy to install - I tend to install them by myself, usually standing on something that isn't meant to be stood on... I generally have on me only a pencil, a small level, a drill and Philips head screwdriver.) They do take a bit of muscle and patience to click into place on the brackets if you don't have a helper on the other end, but once they're clicked in, they stay clicked in. Because I use them in a pet friendly building, I love that they don't have strings - pet cats often make short work of blinds with strings. I love how they look from the inside and from outside. They raise, lower, hold position and tilt so easily. I've only ever had one very minor problem, reached out to customer service to ask if it was something I might be able to fix on my own -- the rep went over a checklist I used to ascertain whether I could effect a repair and sadly, no, but, as I said, the issue was VERY minor and with only one blind (of MANY I have ordered and installed) and I had already communicated that the issue would not merit a return or exchange regardless, but the rep still offered to replace it, which I thought was above and beyond and very nice. (I thanked the rep and opted against a replacement as, again, the issue was too minor for that.) I am a very satisfied customer and I highly recommend these blinds. ... show more

  • Easy to install with a power drill...but you do need a bit extender Easy to install with a power drill...but you do need a bit extender
Size: 27"W x 48"H Color: White
I was skeptical to order these blinds for my cottage on a small Caribbean island since there is more investment in them getting them here from Miami to St Maarten then over to us and up from our harbor plus a small local tax. I was hoping all the complaints about the difficult brackets were because of putting them in the wrong part of the header. I ordered four, they arrived in great shape after four more transfers from their original arrival in the US. The instructions were written very clearly and showed you exactly how NOT to get the bracket in the wrong spot where the header wouldn't give a little to snap into the bracket. I hooked the top onto both sides then used the palm of my hand and pushed with a little snap or pop against the bottom part and it snapped right in while holding the opposite side in place so it didn't slip out of position. Couldn't have been easier. I looked back at other reviews again and I saw heftier looking silver colored steel brackets. Mine were white powder coated steel and possibly they've been redesigned after complaints with a lighter grade metal as the plastic rail bottom snapped into place effortlessly. I put the brackets as far away from the rolling mechanism as possible. It felt well secured when I yanked on it to test it. I did find it's impossible to put the end caps into the headrail after it's up, so put them in first. The match up with the inner parts is purposely made a little angled and tight so they stay in securely. The windows in my 162 year old house fit a little loose plus have a 1/2" open gap at the top for constant airflow and pressure equalization during storms, so older cheaper blinds with pull cords and gears that you cock to one side or the other had rusted and would grow mildew, so I'm hoping with good care that these will last a lot longer without cords or exposed gears as the mechanisms in these blinds are enclosed and only open on the top so they're out of the humid airflow from below. I'm now going to order 5 more to control fading on my new furnishings from the sunny side of the house. They definitely block the direct sun rays better than the cheaper translucent white plastic ones I had previously. The sun used to bore right through and hit me directly in bed at 6:30 AM here and this morning I just had a gentle light in the room. ... show more

  • UPDATED: Breaking at 17 months after purchase and installation
Size: 69.5"W x 72"H Color: White
UPDATED 12/13/2023: IN ADDITION TO MY THOUGHTS BELOW, I am updating to advise that after only 17 months of use, the blind blades are already brittle and breaking off. My previous blind lasted 10 years before it broke. I've downgraded my 4 star rating to 1 star. In short, I do not recommend this and won't buy anything from this company again, ever. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Unable to find a local business that could supply me with a vinyl mini blind, I turned to online sources and eventually ended up here in Amazon. Some of the reviews were mixed, which made me apprehensive about ordering this blind but I did anyhow. My review is below but first, tips for those who plan to install this without needing to seeing a psychiatrist. 1. For your own mental health, please take the mounting brackets out of the box and practice learning how it works with the actual blind itself while you're comfortably seated on the ground so you know what you're doing once you get those brackets installed in your window frame. 2. Now that you know that much, if your blind is wide (mine was 69.5" wide and 72" long), you should know you're going to need the middle bracket. Some smaller widths might only require the left and right brackets but given that the top mounting piece is a very flexible vinyl product (no, it's not metal), you're going to have a droop in the middle without the middle mounting bracket. 3. Speaking of that middle bracket, you should know that you cannot mount it in dead middle of your window as I did, which would have been most asthetically appealing. You can't because right in the middle of the top of the blind itself, they've mounted a metal piece, which appears to be part of the mechanism which rolls the blind strings back up inside of it. It's thick enough that it occupies the entire space within the top mounting rail of the blind, meaning you cannot properly seat the lip of the mounting bracket inside of it. You will need to offset that center mounting bracket you're installing in your window frame to work around this design flaw. 4. If it's a wider blind, helps to have a second pair of hands and eyes in seating the blind in the bracket. 5. Be careful pulling this blind up and down. The lower rail is made of metal but is easy to bend out of shape. Take it easy. REVIEW: It's disappointing that this company does not make the top mounting rail out of metal. It would be much more durable and would not droop the way an all-vinyl rail (this is all vinyl) will droop. The decision to put the metal hardware right in the middle in a way that was not modified so you could mount the middle bracket exactly in the middle of your window and snap the middle bracket in place is also unfortunate. I made it work by offsetting but as noted, with an all-vinyl top rail, it requires a center bracket unless you like a droopy blind. This is NOT the "S" shaped blind, which closes virtually all the way; instead, this is what I call a C shape, meaning that the blades of the blind do not collapse all the way on top of the blind below or above for complete privacy closure. If you're seeing total privacy, this isn't that blind. Some kudos: the company was prompt to get this custom cut and shipped. It arrived a full week earlier than promised and I'm glad to have some window dressing up again. The price was competitive and overall, I'm at least satisfied. ... show more
