    • Finally, Wireless Audio Done Right – And It Actually Works
Color: Black
I’ll be honest — I’ve been burned by cheap Bluetooth adapters before. Pairing issues, audio lag, that annoying hiss in the background. So when I picked this one up, my expectations were measured. I’m happy to report this thing completely changed my mind. Setup was genuinely painless. Plugged it into my receiver, powered it on, and my phone found it immediately. No app required, no frustrating pairing dance, no digging through a manual. Start to finish, I was streaming music in under two minutes. For someone who has fought with other adapters for twenty minutes just to get a connection, that alone felt like a win. Sound quality is where it really earns the five stars for me. My stereo system is older but still sounds fantastic through good source material, and this adapter does nothing to degrade that. The audio comes through clean, full, and with zero noticeable lag — which matters when you’re watching something on your phone and need the sound to match. No hiss, no dropout, no compression artifacts that I can detect. Range is solid too. I can walk into the next room, even to the back of the house, and the connection holds without a hiccup. That’s real-world usability, not just spec-sheet performance. If you’ve got a stereo system you love and just want to bring it into the wireless era without spending a fortune or replacing perfectly good equipment, this is exactly the adapter you’re looking for. Simple, reliable, and it just works. Highly recommend. ... show more

    • AWESOME!!!! Why didn't I buy one of these sooner?!? Updated! Still love it!
1. It's very easy to connect, re-connect and operate. (Some brands are more difficult than others.) 2. It sounds great! 3. The range is excellent! 4. You'll wish that you had bought one sooner! 5. I'm going to buy another, just because it works so well. Update 9-13-24: Still working great! If I could give it another five stars, I would. If you have a lot of Bluetooth devices, like I do, you know how some are harder to connect to, than others. It often feels like you're fighting something, that shouldn't be so difficult, or inconsistent, to connect with. This receiver connects right away, on the first try, every single time. I'm an EE, by profession. I'm very comfortable with technology, and it's not often that a product impresses me this much. Bluetooth has been around, for a long time, and you should NOT have to struggle with it, just to connect to it. If you've ever felt this way, and worry that this is just another one of those devices, fear not, my friend. This device won't give you these problems. It's not often that I come back and update a review, but this receiver has impressed me enough, that I felt compelled to provide an update. I rely on reviews, just like everyone else, when deciding what to purchase. I also appreciate it, when people give updates, as well. It's easy to be happy about something, right after you buy it, but when you're still happy, after months have gone by, that really means something. And yes, as stated in my earlier review, I did purchase a second one. I took it to my sister's house, installed it on her stereo, and she's also very happy with it. Hopefully, this review will help this product stand out, among the many other choices available. Let the music play! ... show more

    • Does what it's supposed to do, but has one slight flaw
Color: Black
I'm fairly technically capable, and this unit performs very well given the technology it lives within. It connects effortlessly to my phone and other BT devices. It is small, has really excellent range, and does exactly what I bought it for. I have a pool, and I use my old stereo to power some outdoor speakers so everyone can listen to music while swimming. My old solution prior to purchasing this unit was to run a physical wire from my stereo to the outside to plug in our phones. That, of course, is less than ideal, for many reasons, which is why I "upgraded" to wireless BT. HOWEVER, there is one really big difference between my old wired solution and this new BT one: VOLUME. The volume output to the speakers is approximately 50% via BT compared to the wired solution. And this matters a lot to me because we have to have the volume pretty high to overcome ambient conditions and nearby road noise. This is NOT an issue of me just turning up the volume on my phone. I know what I'm doing. This is strictly due to the DAC's output level on the BE-RCA unit itself. I used to get PLENTY of volume at about 50% of the max volume on my amp, but now I have to put it at 100% and the volume is sort of acceptable outside using decent speakers. My fear is that there will be some issue down the line by running my amp at max volume all the time. However, I'll be keeping this little BT unit around for a while because the convenience of being able to connect and control things out at the pool wirelessly exceeds my concerns. I'm also not sure if the sound quality will be suffering since I'm maxxing out my amp, but at least initially it seems OK. To be honest, the indoor sound quality at lower volumes was very good and I think for the money this product is excellent, especially the Bluetooth range. I've never lost signal walking around my pool, which means I've been about 50 feet from the receiver and it's been flawless. Very impressed by that, for sure. If you just want to breathe life into your old stereo system by streaming tunes from your phone to it indoors, this thing is amazing for the money, just be prepared for some volume loss. ... show more

    • A must have for older stereos or anyone desiring greater range in Bluetooth signal.
Color: Black
Excellent product! We have a Rockville tuner/amp that is wired to 2 speakers on our back deck/pool area. The Rockville unit is indoors to protect it from weather, so it struggles to pick up a Bluetooth signal unless your phone is just outside the window/wall area where tuner is located. I easily added the Besign BE-RCA unit to the Rockville tuner and now it picks up a Bluetooth signal clear at the back end of our property (2 acres) which is probably 175 feet away, without any breakup or lag. I liked the results so much that I bought another one and have added it to my 1990's Kenwood unit in my garage which I was then able to use Bluetooth all the way to the front of our property which is over 175 feet away. One review mentions drop in volume level when using - this has not been the case with either of mine. Both work great and better than expected. Super easy install - For me, I just used the 2 RCA jacks and plugged them into an open jack on back of my units (Rockville unit I used the DVD/CD input, and the garage unit I used the Tape deck). Then on your tuner/amp, just select whichever one you plugged the RCA jacks into - hold the Besign power button down for a few seconds and it should come up on your phone as a Bluetooth device - select the Besign on your Bluetooth and start playing whatever you want. Power supply is a USB type plugin and is fairly short - could be a bit longer, but I have found that there is no need to extend the Besign unit outside or further away from receiving unit as it picks up a signal very well. Highly recommend!!! ... show more

    • Great sound from your devices to your stereo!
Color: Black
I have an older stereo. I’ve actually got a few of them because I just like the old stuff. The problem is that the old stuff doesn’t have the new stuff like Bluetooth on it so I searched and found this music receiver. It works great. I can play music from all over. I can walk around with my phone and still have the music playing just going all over the house out into the yard and still have the music playing and it sounds really good. I don’t have any complaints about it. It’s easy to hook up with RCA cables. It’s easy to plug-in. It’s got like a USB power plug-in and once you have it set up, you just turn on the on the Bluetooth with a single button push and then it’ll become visible on your devices and you can choose it and if you’ve already used the device before, turn it on and it’ll find it. It’s the same color as my stereo so it blends right in I bought my first one in 2005 so both of those have lasted for a while and you can turn it up and down using your device whether it’s your phone or your computer or something else that broadcast to Bluetooth I think if you’re looking to accessorize an old stereo, this is a good way to do it ... show more

    • Literally saved my old Sony stereo from the trash!
Color: Black
I was actually about to throw away my old Sony stereo system because it didn't have Bluetooth, but I decided to give this Besign adapter a shot first. I’m glad I did—it works perfectly. The Highlights: • Breathed New Life into Old Tech: I can now connect my phone directly to my vintage Sony speakers. It’s a much cheaper (and more sustainable) fix than buying a brand-new system. • Impressive Range: Since this is a "Long Range" model, I can walk around with my phone in my pocket without the music cutting out or stuttering. • Easy Setup: The RCA connection is solid and provided a much cleaner sound than I expected for the price point. One Minor Note: • Power: Just remember it doesn't come with a wall plug for the USB power cable, so you'll need a spare one. Bottom Line: If you have an old high-quality stereo gathering dust, don't toss it. This $25-ish fix makes it modern again. ... show more

    • Great bluetooth streaming device, totally transformed my stereo system!
Highly recommended. Great product at a great price. I can’t think of any component I could have added to my aging, now 30 year old stereo system with large bookshelf speakers that could have provided as much of an improvement to it as the addition of this bluetooth streaming device. Not only is there the convenience of streaming music with first rate fidelity, but also the ability to listen to virtually any radio station in the United States with perfect clarity using a radio app on the phone. Even local stations come in much better because the static and noise due to marginal signal levels is no longer a factor. I feel like I have a brand new stereo system with this device. Once paired, the bluetooth connection can easily be disconnected or reconnected with either the button on top of the device or by disconnecting or reconnecting to it on my phone directly. The range is incredible. Although I haven’t tested every nook and cranny yet but so far, I haven’t found a place in my house where this device isn’t streaming from my phone. Again, really first rate sound quality and of course I love the ability to be able to adjust the sound level right from the phone without having to walk over to the receiver or pick up a remote. I’ve had this thing for two weeks and haven’t had any issues with it at all. Yes there are cheaper devices, but not by all that much. I was looking for a streaming device specifically with Bluetooth 5.0 Because my experiences with Bluetooth 5.0 were so much better than 4.1 devices. I was also looking for a long range device for which this fit the bill. ... show more
