I do not often write reviews cause I'm quite busy and I'm not a good writer, however this one I would love to share my experience and I wish the quality of service would be a role model for all other sellers / reps. First, about the seller. I ordered these blinds to cover up my double windows in the family room, we decided to go with one 9' long blind instead of 2 standard size. Shipment went excellent, the package was high quality, but when I opened it, the fabric for the blinds was black in colour. Somehow I did mistake when selecting a color, but everything else was ok. I contacted the seller and they swiftly responded with suggestion to solve my problem - they sent a link to select the colour I would prefer, and sent a free replacement in few days! They sent a link to the video how to replce a motor from old blinds to new one, and that was it! I was highly impressed and thanlful for such a quick resolution. The product. The blinds installation went without any problems, there were plenty of spare bolts / ancors, quite easy to setup / make it work. There was a little challange with the installation (you can see on picture/video - it's quite high up in the ceiling), but we made it work. The blinds look great and work excellent very quite, though I haven't figure out yet on how to hook up them with my Alexa. Overall I'm very pleased with my experience with this product and seller and would recommend them to everyone.

We bought 3 of these for our Theater for blackout use and they work great. Great Custom made wireless powered blinds. We integrated them with Alexa using the Broadlink RM4 pro Smart IR/RF Remote Control Hub. First you install the blinds and then use the remote that came with them to set them up with upper and lower limits and also program them all to work together on one number on the remote. Make sure to turn off all the blinds with the little on/off switch (by the charging port) first and then only turn on one at a time to set the upper and lower limits as per the directions. The directions that come with the blinds are great and walks you thru it all. With one blind I ordered the remote that does 6 blinds and the other two blinds I just got the free remote that does 2 blinds (not using those). With the remote that does 6 blinds I programmed one blind at a time to the numbers 1, 2 and 3 (again turning off the others) and setting the upper and lower limits. Then turn turn them all on and follow the directions to set all to respond to number 4. Then after setting up the Broadlink RM4 pro Smart IR/RF Remote Control Hub, you use the App on your phone to tell it you want to add a Powered Blind. It will not have your brand and you can select Learn the Remote. Then you follow the directions to teach the Broadlink app the group number up and down buttons on your Blind remote control. It worked great first time. Then you can also tell the Broadlink app you want to integrate with Alexa and it helps add the Alexa Skill needed to your Alexa. It all went smoothly if you just read the directions that come with the Blinds and their remote and the Broadlink directions. The company that sells these blinds has great customer service. One of the 3 blinds (the large one) initially had a couple creases on the front of the valance panel. I contacted them thru Amazon (under my order info) and reported it to them. They just wanted a picture, which was easy, and they sent me a replacement valance and provided a video link on how to move the motor from the current one to the replacement roll with valance. Done, and looks fantastic as you can see in the video. We will probably buy more of these from them and I will definitely tell everyone about them. The blinds are battery operated, rechargeable, and the company provides very long USB power cords with the USB wall block for each blind. The USB cables are about 10ft long, so easy to reach a power outlet nearby. Of course, you could always temporarily run an extension cord just for the charging if needed. You should only need to charge them a couple times a year.

Shipped way faster than expected! These were cut exactly to spec. Make sure you measure three times and understand how to measure as outlined in the "customize" page. I've ordered two of these so far and they were sized perfectly. The batteries took a while to charge, which is a good thing, as it shows they're very high capacity. Programming was easier than expected as well, only took me about 5 minutes of reading instructions to get both blinds paired to both remotes. I also was able to install these blinds inside a window opening with less depth than was recommended, it just took a little work with an angle grinder on the mounting brackets, and the shade sticks out a little, as expected. I used some 90 degree L steel extrusion that's usually used for drop ceilings paired with some adhesive brush/pile weather stripping to make light blockers on the edges for 25% the cost of specialty-made L extrusion light blockers. Will update review if these fail early, but they're very reliable so far. Will update this

This is a great alternative to getting a “custom” shade from one of those discount shade places that will definitely charge you more money than this! It works so well! Charges easily, and even when the seller sent me the wrong size, they were quick to respond and send me the correct size super quickly. The only con is that instructions to install are non existent - you need to google them or search YouTube for them. Instructions: 1. Open package and start to charge the battery pack on the shade. It recommends at least 6 hours of charge before you use it. 2. The dangling cord next to the battery on the shade is for solar power, if you didn’t get that, tuck it away. 3. Measure your window to make sure the shade will fit. 4. (if inside mounting) Measure the depth that you want your shade to go inside the window to sit flush with the wall. The inside top of my window opening was about 5.5 inches long but I wanted the shade to sit in the very front 3 inches of the window so it can be flush with the wall. I had to measure the depth of the middle hole of the bracket to the inside of window to make sure it fit without jutting out. It was about 2 inches each time I installed. You also want to make sure you measure where the brackets will go that hold the shades up. 5. Figure out if your window needs to be mounted to drywall or wood. If it’s drywall, pre-drill a hole and insert the drywall anchors they provided (they are the plastic ones). If it’s into wood or a stud, no need to pre drill or drill a hole, you can screw in the mail right into the wood. 6. Make sure you measure and install the brackets - these should be in an upside down J shape. Imagine if you turned the J 90 degrees to the left one time. You can test these out by “clicking” them into place on the non installed shade before you install just to make sure you have it correct. Once you determine where you want them installed, draw a hole with a pencil to mark the location. (I just divided my whole window opening by 4 so that I could install them evenly). Note, measure so that the screw hole you are measuring is the middle back hole of the bracket (there are 2 holes). I screwed the brackets into the inside of the window opening (mine was 2 inches deep and 11 inches apart) 7. Lastly, “click” the shades into place so that each of the brackets snap into place at the top of the shade. This was difficult for one person for a large window. 8. Program the window - this they actually included the instructions for inside the box, just follow that booklet included.

They look great and work well. Came with the dimensions as ordered. We have two side by side, and one keeps coming unsynced from the remote after a few days. Don’t know why. When I try to reprogram it, sometimes it doesn’t work until I’ve tried several times. Super goofy, but it’s still worth it. Saved a nice little bit of change by doing it all myself through here instead of a local company. Oh, and I struggled to install it using three brackets. Removed the middle one and it was easy. I hope that’s not an issue long-term.

I am ecstatic about this item. This solar-powered, remote-controlled blackout roller shade is perfect for unreachable places e.g. two-story foyer. The front side of my house heats up badly because of the sun coming through the second-story foyer window. The quality of the shade is great, not flimsy or cheap-looking with so many colors and options to choose from. (when ordering make sure to think through where to place the motor [left or right side of the shade] this matters in terms of accessibility. Also, make sure to expose your solar panel to a day of sunlight before installation. It was simple to program the remote with the shade. The solar panel comes at a nominal cost, compared to having an electrician install an electric outlet. The seller was quick to respond to a slight snag (forgot to ship the solar panel with my order), but upon responding to my inquiry, they sent it to me in no time. Shipping was unexpectedly very fast. I highly recommend this seller and its products. You will NOT be disappointed.

Ok! So I read all the other good reviews and pulled the trigger. NO REGRETS! This is by far the coolest feature in our home. We installed these in our rec level to be able to go full blackout for movies. Also we lower them during the day to block out heat to save money on the cooling bill. So the directions are not that clear. However, we were able to install using the video. We ordered the solar panels. No regrets. Even though the blinds themselves hold a long charge we wanted to have a more professional blind install that we didn't have to worry about plugging and unplugging blinds. Now how to install the solar panels?? No instructions. So we just used the clear tape that holds everything and taped it to the window behind the blinds. Hopefully this works for the long term so far so good. We ended up with 5 remotes each being able to program 6 blinds each. We didnt see an option to just order 1 upgraded remote for all 6 blinds when doing the Customization. So we ended up paying an upcharge for each remote. Seems like they should have a way for you to only select 1 upgraded remote. As far as programming. Fairly simple. I programmed all blinds on setting 1. As you can see in the video blind 4 is a little slower. I'll need to deprogram and tweak that. I suggest you program all blinds for the stop position on each individual setting first then switch all blinds to fhe same setting. I'll do this soon. But in any event we LOVE these blinds. If they come in some nicer textures patterns I would order some for my bedroom. Total install time 1 1/2 hours. Total programming time 10 minutes The Alexa integration we will get to but really no need for now. 5 stars!!
