I was happy to find these blinds in 16" width which is what I needed for a narrow window. It would be great if I could easily adjust the length but this is better than nothing. They were fairly easy to install, though the instructions could be slightly better in terms of illustration. One tip is, when you're putting the blinds into position to mark the location of the mounting brackets, see if you can install the valence clips and even the valence. Because the valence clips end up locating the valence a good bit away from the actual blinds, so if you position the blinds towards the inside (furthest from the window) then once you put the valence and clips on, the valence won't hide the mechanical bits of the blinds.. which is the whole purpose of the valence. Anyways, I didn't take that step, so ended up just removing the valence clips and hot-gluing strong round magnets to the back of the valence. Then I just stuck them to the metal body of the blinds, and the valence looks much better and now hides most of what it's supposed to hide. ... show more

These fit the bill. They seem well built (time will tell) and perfect fit. Measure as per instructions and should be easy install. Need to determine the final "look" to set the bracket in the correct position so the header ends in the correct area. Wife wanted the header outside the wood window frame instead of inside. Just depends on the look you want. Highly recommend. Purchased for a guest bedroom to see what they look like. Now the wife wants in several other windows. ... show more

I'm not sure why it took me so long to buy these blinds. Everything I needed was included right in the box, and the installer only needed about 15 minutes to put them up. He even wanted to surprise me by shortening the blinds, but since the instructions don’t mention anything about trimming them, it ended up taking him over two hours to put everything back together. During the day, I close the blinds to block out 100 percent of the sunlight, which helps keep my foyer cooler. They're easy to raise and lower—just a matter of pushing up or pulling down with your hands. I usually keep them lowered and only open them to a horizontal position to let in some light when the sun isn’t directly shining on my home. I really like the two-inch slats. They give the blinds a more refined look. They’re lightweight and look almost as stylish as my custom-made ones. I initially worried that my door’s charm might be compromised because the blinds could block the view of the elegant beveled glass panes. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. I simply open the blinds during the day so the glass can be seen as it was meant. At night, when I close the blinds, it prevents that uneasy feeling of being watched through the panes. Plus, the blinds look adorable when closed, making this a truly worthwhile investment. ... show more
