I really recommend this sauna blanket!. I already used it 10 times, for 35 mins and it is amazing how you feel relaxed and ready to sleep as a baby. After the sauna, I’ve taken a cold shower and it has helped me a lot with my circulation.

    • Claustrophic Sleeping Bag!
I became addicted to sauna-ing after a spa day recently, so I spent some time researching sauna blankets. I thought this would be it (after being influenced and getting served plenty of IG ads), but, alas, it was not, and back to the sauna I go! Sauna blankets might be magical, but it might not be for you if you're claustrophobic. A heated, weighted blanket that you're zipped into? Where your feet can hardly wiggle freely? I used to spend so much money on monthly memberships to use an infrared sauna and have been able to save $$$ because of this! I used to sit in the infrared sauna at 150 degrees for nearly an hour. The sauna blanket has a setting from 1-8. I am able to do settings 5-6 and can to stay in for about 45 minutes and sweat just the same! I’ve had the blanket for about 3 months now and it’s working great! Worth the money! ... show more

I purchased this sauna blanket as a way to test the idea of regular sauna use without buying a stand alone sauna. What I like is it heats up fast. I put it on 8 and use it for 40 minutes. I listen to 40hz meditation music. I have used it about 3x a week since purchasing it and feel that it aid my circulation and overall mood. It is pricey but I am glad I bought it. ... show more

    • Amazing at home heat therapy
I know this is expensive, but if you think you're going to use it even semi regularly, it's worth it. I used to go to a 'sweat lodge' that uses these blankets that costs $60 per session. Obviously theirs are more commercial, but I'd argue the sweat is exactly the same. We've used it more than ten times, which means we've already more than saved our money for the exact same thing. I do recommend getting plastic liners to line the inside. Not only does it help you sweat, but it provides the easiest clean up ever.     • Definitely Worth It!
I would highly recommend this product. I am in my late 30s and suffer from major cervical issues so its difficult for me to work out. I use the mat for around 45 minutes each and day while watching TV or meditating and work up a huge sweat. It definitely relaxes me and I feel like it speeds up my metabolism. I bought the $80 insert towel but I ended up returning it. I use a cheap thin t-shirt and pants it helps me work up a huge sweat which I like. ... show more

    • Sweat for sure but does it provide benefits?
This is pretty well put together. I mean I never owned any others to compare it to, but this seems made to last. I’ve used it for over 3 weeks about 3-4 times a a week and can’t honestly say I see any benefit. I’m on full power now and it does work up a good sweat and is pretty relaxing. Thing is, I live in Florida so sweating is no big feat! I work out so sweat just as much in the gym. From what I’ve been told, suana blanket sweat is supposed to be a “better” sweat but I’m still waiting to see how. I actually bought this for my wife since her doc recommended it for detox. She hasnt used it once! Lol. Makes me the Guinea pig. I don’t drink much or anything like that so can’t say if it detoxes in a hangover way either but i do at least feel good when I get out of it. Not a natural high like it says but I don’t feel beat up. One thing you should consider is that I’m 6’ 225 lbs and not at all fat but not skinny either (17%BF). I BARELY fit in this height wise and it’s hard to zipper and to keep zippered across my shoulders. I get zipper over Velcro but it’s hard for me to move inside and zip it up all the way and if I make a move it unzips at the shoulder area. It’s not tight, I can move, but if I try to reach across to get the zipper it opens and it’s near impossible to zip with the right hand since I don’t bend that way…..lol. The flap over the left shoulder was a great idea though. Overall I went with the more expensive option with the bells and whistles like clay and amethyst etc but gotta say, again with nothing to compare it to, I’m not sure if I’d recommend you do the same. I knew going in I was partly paying for the name of a big time NYC Spa and accept that, but was also kinda hoping for a big time spa return on the investment in my health etc, but I’m still waiting. I will update this if I notice any remarkable benefits since I want this to work and I want to be fair and for people to know my truthful experience before they plunk down the coin needed for the Mercedes of suana blankets. ... show more
