I purchased the Jasion EB6 for my wife because we’re in our 50s and I thought it would be a good beginner bike for her since she has never ridden an e-bike before. We also chose the EB6 because at 5ft 2in, my wife wanted a bike with a seat post adjustment low enough to allow her to plant both feet flat on the ground while seated. The assembly was not difficult. But you can find a video on how to assemble the Jasion EB7 on YouTube that is useful, as the assembly instructions for the EB6 and EB7 are the same. After one month and 100 miles of riding, I am surprised at the quality of this bike at the current price point. My wife weighs 108 lbs. and normally does a 10-mile ride on Pedal Assist 2 and will have 95% battery remaining. It is a very solid bike with good performance at a great price, and my wife is now comfortable with riding her EB6 at the max speed of 25mph. We are very satisfied with the EB6 and have already ordered another EB6 for myself. ... show more

This product as well as Heybike Support make this an unbelievable E-Bike to buy in this price range. It's a very nice riding bike with front suspension and a spring loaded holding tube for the seat. The nice 20" by 4" tires give you the security you want to feel like so you can ride anywhere. Excellent system to remove the battery as well as a usb port to charge your phone while your resting. Here are some of the Pro's: 1: 8 different mode settings (Default 0-3). Can also set 1-3, 0-5, 1-5, 0-7, 1-7, 0-9, 1-9. Sounds like gibberish but you'll understand once you get one of these 2: Each of the settings you can adjust the power. Ex Mode 1=30%, 2=75%, 3=99% Why this is great. My wife and i both have E=Bikes and she has modes 0-3. I set mine to 1-5 so that my 1 goes 6 mph, my 2=her 1, my 3=her 2, my 4 is 4% faster than her 3 (so I can take breaks peddling) and my 5=her 3. So you can adjust your power for each mode so that you can peddle side by side with friends. 3. 500 watt motor with 48V 12.5AH motor. Power plus good lasting battery 4. Fold-able bike (yes it is 65lbs so a bit heavy but still doable) 5. Solid Frame and great front suspension 6. Fat tires (boy do I love them) 7. Easy to use throttle 8. Gear shifter that works like it's supposed. Marked 1-7 and unlike in the old days it means what it says. 9. Heybike Support. I wanted to make a slight change and I reached out to them. Not only to they respond right away, but they sent me a video to show me how to make the change. They also sent me a part from China which i got in about 6 days, so I rode my bike until the part came (no big deal). Also they sent it Fedex, and from China you know that wasn't cheap. Imagine a company that has a support group will to do this so that the bike is everything you want it to be. Cons: Heavy bike. So be sure if you going to fold it and place it in your car, remove the battery first. This will make it easier to handle. Even though I wrote this as a con. If you want a solid frame like this without spending $3000 to $4000 for a bike then this is the only draw back. For me it's not a con because I can mange the weight with no problem and I am 65 years old. One last comment. I wasn't given this bike to review or paid in anyway. I just believe that when a company makes a good product at great price for what it is, I always feel I should write a review. Especially with everything that the Heybike Support Group did to help me make this exactly what I want. ... show more

I purchased the bike from Amazon ($50 cheaper than Heybike website) a few months ago. The bike was delivered sooner than promised. Packaging was superior without a scratch. I stood the box on end and when I opened the box, the bike fell right into my hands. I pulled the box away and that was it. No lifting! Others commented they opened the box and lifted the bike out. No need. It’s practically put together except for the seat and handlebars. I purposely waited to post a review. So far after over 100 miles It’s everything I expected. I am getting more than 50 miles per charge. I’m 160 lbs and 5’ 9”. All things considered, the battery holds a charge very well. I mostly use pedal assist. It takes a little learning curve to get used to the throttle. I have a habit of pressing the pedal forward in assist mode. If you’re not paying attention it will jolt forward.. Be sure to have both Hands on the bars to maintain control. My only con would be the frame size. I like to fully extend my legs when pedaling. With the seat maxed out I’m pedaling with a bent knees. On the other hand, the pedal assist does wonders for 69 year old knees. I purchased the convex handlebar mirrors from Amazon (Briskmore)which is a big plus. They fit into the ends of the handlebars. One other thing I’d like to mention, it’s not a motorbike. If you’re buying the bike as your primary means of transportation. There might be better choices out there. ***** update ***** After 3 years and almost 900 miles, this bike has been nothing but, solid, dependable, and rugged. I had to upgrade my review to 5 stars. Shout out to HeyBike! All I can say is: if you take care of the bike, it will take care of you! I’ve been doing some riding on rough dusty terrain and this bike does not disappoint. I’m approaching 72 and appreciate the quality build and ride. I am not getting paid for this endorsement but, am thrilled to pass on my experience with this bike. Money well spent.     • Great bike so far, could use better brakes
I got this bike for my kid’s on-campus commuting between classes. Later she moved it an apartment off campus and still used the bike to travel to school, or to stores for groceries. Only when she started working did it become apparent she needed a car, but we got a solid year out of the e-bike before that. She still uses it to go to class, and has put over 2500 miles on it. She had a couple accidents (hitting debris in the road a couple times) but we were able to easily repair it. Been very happy with the bike overall, but do wish it had better brakes. ... show more

We love our heybikes. There were a couple of parts damaged during shipping but contacted seller they were right on it and replaced the parts. Very helpful The bike rides great the pedal assist is awesome. The assembly is not bad but I had second one out together by bike shop which was nice. We are looking forward to lots of rides on the bike paths in our city. This a great price for the two bikes. Love that they fold up for storage. ... show more
