This is a good quality product. I have been using it for several days, and we are in the midst of the Northeast heat dome with record setting temperatures in June of 2024. It has been absolutely fantastic to come in from watering in the garden and wash my face with this refreshing scrub. It lathers really well and I feel as though it removes the sweat and grime easily. It is quite gentle as compared to many other scrubs. I would really describe it more as a face wash with just a bit of gentle grit in it. One thing that really surprised me was that it comes out of the tube in an almost black color! I am going to post a photo of that. It lathers up into a gray lather and does not leave any dark residue on your face at all, but I found it to be unusual. Overall, I am definitely pleased with this product and would order it again

I got this scrub for my husband and tried it several times myself. It's a decent face wash, but it doesn’t seem very exfoliating. The paste-like texture lathers up well, so you don't need much product, and it rinses cleanly. However, the exfoliating particles are too small and sparse for my liking, and they dissolve during washing, which lessens the exfoliating effect. Overall, it's gentle and might be a good introductory scrub for men and boys new to skincare, but I find it a bit pricey for what it offers.

My June 2024 order of ‘Atwater Skin Armor Face Scrub [Built for all skin types], 3.4 fl. oz.’ arrived in a recyclable plastic tube with an intact under-the-lid consumer protection seal. Instead of a specified expiration date, the tube displays the ’12M’ symbol, which means the product should be used within twelve months of unsealing the tube. This scrub is ‘Made in USA with globally sourced ingredients’. The color of the scrub is a bit shocking when you first see it; very dark green, but appears black in your hand. (Made me glad I use face scrub in the shower instead of at the sink.) The scrub does create a weak lather with some rubbing, and you can feel the jojoba beads in your hands as very small round beads which provide a mild (and I’m sure very gentle) scrub. The scent is pleasant without being overpowering or chemical. After using for several weeks I’ve had no issues (no adverse reactions or outbreaks on my face). I appreciate the advantages this scrub offers (hypoallergenic, cruelty-free, fragrance-free, etc); I prefer these characteristics in all the lotions and creams I use. This does seem to be a scrub with very mild abrasion which some will like and some may not. I’ve usually used scrubs with more abrasion, but I’m going to stick with this Atwater scrub for the entire tube — if it does the job well enough, then using a more abrasive scrub is probably not necessary and might save some wear and tear on my face. This scrub is more expensive than typical grocery store products, but seems to be higher quality as well.

I like this face scrub. I was a bit surprised to find it is dark green and more of a gel-consistency than the listing photos led me to believe. Just surprising when it comes out of the tube at first. The scrub has very gentle beads to help exfoliate and a nice minty-herbal scent that is mild. A rather tiny amount was all I needed to wash my entire face, and it rinsed away easily and cleanly. This is not a huge tube of scrub, if you can get away with the pea-sized amount I was able to use for one wash then it's priced reasonably. This is listed as 'travel size' and is a 3.4oz tube to meet TSA rules.

This scrub has a very interesting scent that I can't quite place. Sort of minty/earthy, but it's kind of nice. The scent alone feels invigorating for my mood. It's a very dark green color, which is unique. It's pretty gentle for a men's exfoliating scrub. The beads are small and not too harsh, but it does feel like it cleans my skin well. Seems gentle enough for daily use if you wanted to. I like that it has salicylic acid in it, as it seems my skin responds best to that as far as fighting acne goes. No dryness or irritation so far with this product.

This face scrub is quite gentle for an exfoliating scrub. I actually like that it is more gentle than your typical exfoliating scrubs since I have found others too harsh on my sensitive skin. It has a mild pleasant scent. I also like that it contains salicylic acid for my acne prone skin. The color of the scrub is almost black which was definitely a choice. But overall I am pleased with this face scrub and will definitely use the whole thing.
