I want to sing the praises of this incredible cookware. I started off with the purchase of this pan with lid. I thought the 14 inch pan might be too big but I was wrong. It fits nicely on the stove and can cook anything because of the size. The first thing I noticed was the even heat distribution. I made breaded boneless chicken breasts. In all other pans, even when the oil was hot, there was sticking. Not with this incredible pan. I put the chicken breasts in, let it brown a while and then just jiggled the pan a little. The chicken slid around much to my joy and I had beautifully browned meat that was so easy to turn over. I wish I had known about this cookware 3 years ago because I invested in 3 separate types of pans, all which failed after a year and had to be given away. This cookware is worth every penny you pay for it. The next pan I bought was a large dutch oven with a lid. I made a white sauce first. I've never had a pan like this. As soon as I mixed the melted butter and flour together, the roux bubbled beautifully from one edge of the pan to the other--no hot or cold spots. Perfect roux! My next pan will be the large roaster. Looking forward to that for sure. Every time I cook with these beautifully made quality pans I feel such appreciation for them. Even though the instructions say you can use metal utensils, I still am careful with them. I've never needed to use a metal scrubbie because nothing and I mean nothing sticks....cleaning up is quick and easy. The bottoms of the pans have never developed that golden brown oil build-up like all my other pans have. They wash perfectly clean and look brand-new. ... show more

This pan is great. Food does stick to the pan and it is scratch resistant. the pan has some heft and distributes the heat as you cook. I liked it so much that I bought another. I would recommend.

This pan does it all. Literally. I've made steaks to pizzas in this thing. I use it everyday. Cleans super easy. STILL looks band new. It's not chipping. There is no discolor. If you don't cook a lot or really care about having a pan that lasts ( because you'll just throw it out and buy another one) then steer clear of this. Cooks very evenly. Just throw a tiny bit of love oil before you cook......nothing sticks. It was worth it to me! And thats all that matters..... ... show more

    • It Really Works! 8" Hexclad pan and 12" Hexclad griddle

This product works absolutely as advertised. I was truly surprised. After many years (10+) of use, my Emeril Pro-Clad non-stick pan finally gave up the ghost. Non-stick surface was worn out and had begun to peel at edges. I needed a pan that would work on induction and heat evenly and on the sides of the pan. I tried two others, one of which barely worked on induction (despite advertising it does); the first was another Emeril product (but not Pro-Clad line, which is no longer made). My large burner wouldn't identify the pan at all, and on the smaller ones would, but then turned off. I returned Emeril and tried Le Creuset, which arrived bent because it was shipped with NO padding. Still, I put on the burner first to see if it worked. Large burner wouldn't identify, but smaller ones did. I returned Le Creuset and ordered HexClad. WOW, what a pan! it works on ALL induction "burners", heats fast and even and truly is non-stick. Be sure to follow instructions to season these pans before use, and to not overheat them. They really do work at lower settings. Where I might have used 4 to 4 1/2 on my induction, I find 3 - 3 1/2 works the same. The very first test was an egg, and it came right out of the pan as advertised. Then tested were grilled cheese and more eggs; non-stick every time. Do be sure to add a little oil or butter (don't need much). Next test was 12" griddle, and pancakes came right off the griddle with no problem. The also cooked more evenly. Needed way less oil than with a traditional stainless pan. Consider me a convert - I love these pans! ... show more

I avoided getting this because of the high price and conflicting reviews. I purchased the small 7 inch pan on Black Friday while it was on sale. I followed the instructions for seasoning (really easy) and then the next day tried frying an egg. I was rather anxious due to the reviews about eggs sticking. Well, not a problem. I preheated the pan on low, put spritzed it with olive oil, and added an egg. A short time later I gave it a nudge with the spatula and it was sliding around pan, no sticking. I have used it almost every morning to fry and egg and have not had any problems with sticking, I am quite happy with the pan. It has been easy to clean. I have been using plastic spatulas so I can't speak as to how it stands up to metal utensils. The big test will be how long it lasts, most traditional non-stick pans only last me about a year. Although I really like the pan so far, I do not think I'd want to pay full price for one. Pros: So far it has been nonstick as claimed, it has been easy to clean, heats up evenly on an induction cooktop. Cons: Expensive and possibly a learning curve as some reviewers really have a problem with eggs sticking. ... show more

Recently I bought a 14-inch one, which costs $159.99 including the lid. It cooked quickly, the hot oil didn’t explode like other brands, and it’s easy to clean! But the lid was cracked, The lid didn’t cover properly, left two big gaps between the pan and the lid.
