I’ve wanted one of these charming little clocks for years. I finally bit the bullet and bought one…I adore it. It was a piece of cake to hang and get going right out of the box, the little chime is soft and melodic, and I happen to find the quiet ticking soothing. It’s beautifully made, as you would expect, and kept good time right from the start. Since it’s hand-wound/weight-driven (and not quartz), this is impressive. It did lose a few minutes during the first week, but that’s normal and was very easily adjusted per the clear instructions that come with the clock. If you decide to get one, realize the clock itself is small. However, the chain that drives the clock is very long, which requires you to choose a hanging spot that’s both high enough that the chain doesn’t hit the ground and is also out of the way of small kids and pets. Mine is hanging about 7’ off the ground and even with that the chain gets within a foot of the floor! Unusual, old-school, aesthetically pleasing, and well-made…what’s not to like? Wholly recommended.

This clock is everything I expected it to be. It is built with a brass frame, as are most of the works. Nothing shoddy about the materials or construction. It took a few days to calibrate the pendulum to get the time right, but now it is keeping rather accurate time. Hanging it was easy, and getting it going, once hung, took almost no time at all. A superb clock, attractive, functional, and no absurd electronics to go haywire. I recommend this strongly.

I bought this clock in 2016. It has run perfectly since that time. The company is helpful with questions. A beautiful clock that the grandkids are awed by.

Worth the money in my opinion. Arrived well packed. It does take a week or so to fine tune the pendulum to run accurate time and it is quite accurate once you have the patience to do so. I would say between each tune give 24 hours to find the time difference and keep fine tuning and you will hit the sweet spot. The chime could have been a bit more loud and pleasant instead of a tinny sound. The clock did not arrive with a pin i suppose to hold the dial in the place which is a major QC issue and i have fixed it with a staple for now. I can call the company for it but the timings don't match. Lastly the whole mechanical mechanism is open to air which is good but i am not sure what effect will the dust have on it over time. Would have been great if they were covered in glass but still viewable. I like it, time keeping is good but needs initial patience, tick tock is soothing, chime could be better, QC could be better, price could be a bit lesser but a charm for a clock that is mechanical and old school. Love it.

The media could not be loaded. I've always wanted a mechanical clock since I was a child. I've looked at grandfather clocks on and off over my adult life but have never wanted to spend the money on one. I stumbled across this clock while I was looking for a new wall clock to put in my man cave and decided that if I was ever going to get a mechanical clock then this will be the one. I really like the look, feel and sound of it. It is very solid and except for the porcelain face is all metal. It did take me about a month of tinkering with it to get the time keeping very close to accurate. I got it to about 15 seconds a week slow which is close enough for me. The tick tock is fairly loud when compared to regular cheap wall clocks. At first the tick tock bothered me when I was watching movies or TV so I would stop the clock while watching TV. After a few months I don't even notice the tick tock anymore while watching TV so I don't stop it anymore. At first it was hard to see where the hands was on the clock from my chair but also after a few months I can now see where they are at. It is a very nice clock. It just takes some time to set and get used to. Update: After 5 years I have the clock so perfect on time that I only have to correct it about twice a year. It usually occurs in the start and end of winter so I wonder if it's due to the temperature affecting the clock. It runs all year long non stop. Definitely recommend.

A very nice clock. Was easy to set up and quiet beautiful. For clarification it is just the clock, chain, and weight. I made the case you see in the pictures. I wanted to make a grandmother clock for my mother's birthday and this was a very affordable quality timepiece that I was able to build the case around. The clock itself is meant to be placed directly on the wall. The chime is perfect. Not too loud and a nice delightful "ding" on the hour. Other people complained about the weight coming loose in shipping, but the manufacturer must have improved the shipping because it was very well protected and separate in the box. No issues at all. I put pictures of the clock how it looks in the case I made for it and pics of it installed before I finished the case to give a idea of the actual clock.

This clock is small, but very nice. I took it out of the box, assembled the pendulum and weight, hung it on the wall, and it has kept perfect time ever since. It has a very pleasant "ding" at the top of the hour. Its tic-toc is audible, but not loud. I've got the clock hanging just outside my bedroom, and I don't hear it at night. I love clocks, especially unique ones with mechanical movements, but I almost didn't get this one because of the negative reviews saying that the pendulum stops or the clock doesn't keep accurate time. I have not found that to be the case, but like a cuckoo clock, it may take a bit of patience to get it to perform the way you want it. I'm so glad I ordered it ... I love it!
