I ordered this set and had a few problems with it. One of the ottomans was configured incorrectly so I could not secure one side. The couch came with a wrong cushion. I made contact with the seller and sent them photographs of the ottoman. They were either going to refund me $80 for the damaged ottoman, or charge me an extra $160 for two more (they are sold in packages of two). I found that unacceptable and asked for two free ottomans and stated I would send the other two back if they provided return shipping. Another representative from the company said that they would send two new ones, free of charge, and did not require the damaged ones returned. Then, on to the issue of the cushion. The representative stated that the cushions were back ordered and would not be available for a few weeks. I was willing to wait. But, after the passing of the few weeks, I had not heard back from them and I inquired about if they had an updated arrival time. They could not guarantee anything, so I suggested that they open up another box of the product and just send me one cushion. They ended up sending me two more chairs (they come as a pair), free of charge. While their customer service is well above par, the product itself seems lacking. I have noticed rusting occurring on the fire pit table, and it has been covered when not in use. I will be curious to see how durable the set will be over the summer months.

Overall, when assembled, the product is OK. The chairs have low backs and the cushions are a bit thin. Standing alone, one chair seems pretty small but it is OK in a set even if on the small side. The set comes in five boxes so everything is very tightly packed. To make it all fit, the cushions are in plastic vacuum bags which makes them very thin. Once the bag is opened the cushions expand to full size after a while. Unfortunately, the boxes are clearly marked with a warning that returns are only accepted in the original packaging. Once the parts are removed and the cushions are expanded, there is basically no way to put it all back in the original box. It is sort of like trying to put toothpaste back into the tube. If you decide you don't like it after taking it out or putting the first piece together: good luck getting it back in the box. Assembly took quite a while. The instructions were pretty clear and easy to follow, but it is difficult to get some of the screws started (they have to be aligned perfectly). I have lots of tools and typically can put things together quickly. The placement of holes for the screws or bolts is problematic because the space is small so you can't use a full-size screwdriver or a drill with an Allen bit. Instead, you will end up having to use the tiny Allen wrench that comes with the parts to tighten the bolts. Often, it will only make about a 1/4 turn before having to remove and re-insert the wrench, so progress is very slow. There is no room for real tools on most connections. Also, be sure not to tighten bolts until basically all of them are started because it is difficult to make holes line up on one part after tightening down another. If you fit it all together loosely and then tighten, it is much easier. The chairs and sofa seem sturdy, but time will tell. Patio furniture often deteriorates quickly when exposed to sun, especially the cushions. I noted that there is nothing in the paperwork that claims that the cushion material will hold up well in the sun or is UV resistant. I am concerned that we will need to replace cushions after a summer or two in the sun. For the price, not a bad value, but not top-of-the line patio furniture. Plan on spending most of the day putting it all together.

I was so hesitant to order without seeing and trying out and was worried about some of the negative reviews. But the price was good and this set was exactly what I was looking for. I am so glad that I took the leap and ordered. I am extremely happy with this set. It was easy to assemble. Just be sure not to completely tighten any of the screws until all assembly has been completed. Cushions are comfortable. Love the fire table. Have only had it for several weeks so can't speak to wear and tear but so far am very pleased!
