  • Made in the USA - FLUORIDE FREE Toothpaste
Flavor Name: Sensitive Mint Size: 5.25 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I switched my family to David's Hydroxi Fluoride Free Nano Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste about six months ago. As someone with sensitive teeth, I was drawn to this toothpaste for its promise of enamel remineralization and sensitivity relief without fluoride or harsh chemicals. Texture and Flavor: The toothpaste has a smooth, creamy texture that feels gentle yet effective during brushing. The natural peppermint flavor is refreshing and leaves my mouth feeling clean without being overpowering or artificial-tasting. It’s a pleasant change from the overly sweet or medicinal flavors of some mainstream brands. Effectiveness: The nano-hydroxyapatite, which mimics the natural composition of tooth enamel, seems to live up to its claims of repairing enamel and reducing sensitivity. My teeth also feel smoother and look noticeably whiter, though the whitening is subtle and natural rather than dramatic. The antiplaque properties work well—my teeth feel clean and polished after each brush, and I’ve had less tartar buildup between dental visits. Ingredients and Sustainability: I love that David's prioritizes clean, naturally sourced ingredients. It’s vegan, EWG Verified, and free of artificial flavors, colors, and preservatives. The recyclable metal tube is a big plus for eco-conscious consumers, and the fact that it’s made in the USA adds to its appeal. The tube can be a bit tricky to squeeze as it nears the end, though the included metal key helps with rolling it up. Overall: David's Hydroxi Toothpaste is a fantastic option for those seeking a fluoride-free, natural toothpaste that delivers on sensitivity relief, gentle whitening, and plaque control. It’s a premium product that feels like a worthwhile investment in oral health. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to switch to a cleaner, more sustainable toothpaste without sacrificing effectiveness. 4.8/5 stars! ... show more

  • Effective, healthy toothpaste
Flavor Name: Sensitive Mint Size: 5.25 Ounce (Pack of 3)
My wife and I have switched to this toothpaste recently and really enjoy it. It's got a pleasant taste and leaves your mouth feeling very clean and fresh. It also whitens effectively and it's great using a toothpaste that helps you prevent cavities without flouride, making it a much healthier option. You only need a little so each tube lasts a long time. Highly recommended ... show more

  • Great- but- could use a little improvement
Flavor Name: Mild Mint Size: 4 Ounce (Pack of 1)
So- I’m giving this 5 stars because it’s a good product and I don’t want to ruin their numbers because of this BUTTTTTT I dislike the packaging. The product itself is great. My teeth feel really clean and it has a minty taste and smell. It doesn’t make my teeth sensitive. My child immediately put a hole in it- and we are just babying it until it’s gone. I bought two bottles and the other one I’m being more intentional about pinching it exactly right. The ingredients are great. I feel good about giving this to my family. So overall, it’s great and I would purchase again but I would be more aware that the bottle isn’t super user friendly ... show more

  • Good toothpaste, challenging tube.
Flavor Name: Sensitive Mint Size: 4 Ounce (Pack of 1)
This is my family’s go to fluoride free toothpaste. We all have healthy smiles :) While I appreciate that the paste is not in a plastic tube, it does seem to pose a problem for my kids (teenagers) who just squeeze wherever they want, creating cracks in the tube - which causes the paste to ooze out the cracks. The paste is on the pricier side, so I don’t want waste. I’m not sure a way to remedy this without sticking it in a plastic tube. Perhaps a metal jar? We put a toothpaste squeezing tool at the bottom so they can work the paste from the bottom up, not creating cracks. That’s seemed to work well. Taste is good, mouth feels clean. ... show more

  • Saved my wisdom tooth
Flavor Name: Orange Vanilla Size: 4 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I have TMD, a narrow mouth and all my wisdom teeth. I was told that as long as I can reach my teeth and brush them that there was no reason to remove them, and as I want to avoid any unnecessary procedures, I brush every night and floss daily. As a kid I was much less diligent about it and ended up needing fillings, and due to my teeth being so close together, flossing is very much a requirement for me. But again, I want to keep my teeth so I make dental care a priority. At my last dental appointment, I had to get some fillings redone, as I had developed TMD and clenched my teeth in my sleep so much I broke them. And at my last cleaning, they said it all looked good. I remember the hygenist scraping one of my wisdom teeth and her tool catching, but no one said anything, I figured they would've seen something on the X-ray, so I put it out of my mind. I brushed and flossed every day, so of course there was nothing to worry about! WRONG This past October, I was running my tongue around my teeth just to make sure I had everything nice and clean, when my tongue brushed up on something on the same wisdom tooth the hygenist's tool caught on. I began to panic, because duh! I brush and floss dangit!! And I pried my mouth open as much as I could and looked in the mirror and saw an unmistakable sight: the edge of an unsightly grey crevice. A cavity. A very large cavity, in fact. I used a flosser to help gauge the damage and that sucker was HUGE. How did the dentist, the hygenist and I miss it for so long? This had been developing for at least a year, and obviously longer if the hygenist's tool was catching on it. I sat in horror and analyzed the situation. How could this have happened? Then I remembered I have TMD, and it was often difficult for me to open my mouth wide enough and get a toothbrush back there, so I likely got a little lazy. So what now? Was I going to have to concede and get one of my teeth of wisdom removed? Not with my stubborn self! So I did some furious researching and came across this toothpaste at the end of the research rainbow. It had a fancy ingredient that research told me would help remineralize teeth. And current research states as long as the cavity is in the first layer, it's possible to remineralize your teeth. I figured that since I wasn't crying in agony, there was a chance it wasn't too deep, but I had to make the decision NOW or I would have no other option than to lose a tooth I spent so long growing. My personal tooth! I also have never had a dentist that didn't grumble working on my teeth because of how narrow my mouth is, so I had no faith in finding one who would help me keep it. I didn't have the energy to beg and plead with them. So I bought this in the orange flavor, because mint gives me headaches, and decided to force myself every day to brush back there. It cannot be understated how huge this cavity was, so I figured it might take like six months to a year to remineralize, if such a thing was possible for me at this point. But I was determined! I had to try! I bought this toothpaste October 27th. It is now mid-January, and my tooth is almost all better. The only changes I made were not chewing food on that side, and using this toothpaste. I'm not against flouride by any means, and have seen smaller cavities remineralize with flouride as well, but for what it's worth, this did save my tooth from removal. The flavor is excellent. It reminds me of those Flintstone orange push pops from my childhood. More toothpaste needs to come in this flavor. For it fixing my tooth, I'd say it's a great pricepoint. I used more toothpaste than I usually do in my paranoid pursuit (I was always told just a pea sized amount is necessary) and probably have a month's worth left. At least. I'm not sure how to gauge it. No sensitivity. Does not foam much. I'm only mentioning these two points because Amazon seems to think it's important, but as I haven't bought traditional minty toothpaste from the big brand in years, I don't really know how to compare it. And again, not knocking any of the main brands, and you know which ones. I just can't stand mint. Why not enjoy brushing with watermelon or strawberry flavored toothpaste? Or in this case, orange dreamsicle? I'm a fully grown woman and will forever brush with tasty flavors. I'm actually excited to brush my teeth with candy fruity flavors. Try it sometime. This also came with a key. I saw some other reviews mention not getting one, but mine did. All in all, I could cry happy tears. Just a few months ago I was trying to imagine a hefty dental bill and how to afford it. I was planning a trip to Turkey and calculating how much money to save. I was trying to mentally prepare for losing my tooth, despite how hard I tried to take care of them. I was trying to make peace with the pain I was going to experience having my tooth removed, and the healing process and all that fun stuff. I felt like a failure. But a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. My tooth is 90% healed, and I'm confident as long I keep it up, the cavity will be gone entirely and become a distant horrible memory that I will recall on occasion and shudder about as it flashes into my mind during future brushings. Take care of your teeth and they will take care of you. Brush and floss every day. I will 100% recommend this toothpaste to anyone and everyone as it's effectiveness is undeniable. I had a crater in my tooth that rivaled the surface of the moon, and now it's almost gone. It works. It's that simple. It's effective and delicious. What more could you ask for in a toothpaste? ... show more
