It looks like plastic, feels like it, but i didn't pay $3000. Backs of seats we shall see how they withstand. If you're careful I think they'll hold up. Directions extremely minimal, if you have a mind you can figure it out. Seats are roomy. Cushions are thick. Back cushions are difficult to get into cover. I agree with another interviewer, they need to rethink the back cushions. You just STUFF them in, don't fit corners. Looks messy. You have to align the white patch in back pillow to the cover so you know how it goes on. Have someone help bc you need help zippering. All boxes arrived on time. No missing parts. My husband was disappointed in it bc of plastic look but it's growing on us.

Love this traditional set! Great price for what you get. Easy to put together. All holes lined up. All hardware included. Cushions are thick and material is great! Color as shown. The back cushions are a bit confusing because I think you just shove them in but it looks lumpy kinda. I’ll have to readjust and figure it out but it would be nice if there was some guidance on that. One chair came damaged but the seller sent out a new one right away! Great customer service! I usually don’t write many reviews but wanted to show pictures as there wasn’t many when ordering.
