I walk my dog, 3 miles a day in all kinds of MN weather and I have been looking for a decent longer raincoat w/hood forever. I had no idea you had to pay so much for a raincoat, but count on spending at least $100 if you want some thing that will last. I finally found this rain jacket, I didn’t want to pay over $100, but I did, and ordered the extra large. I run a size 14, 40D 5’7” 185. XL is my go to size, but the rain jacket was a little snugger than I like, especially over the chest. It’s not easy to bend, and I hope the metal snaps don’t pull off. That said, I am going to keep it, because it is the only jacket that really is to the knees, a nice, thick fabric, and a good hood with decent pool strings. I could take or leave the belt but, it does nothing for me.

Too small but other than that wonderful! I’m a little on the plus size 5’3” 190lbs. I was 170lbs when I ordered this so hopefully after I loose this baby weight it will fit better. Lol but it still does run small

I live in SE Alaska which is rain country, and this is the perfect raincoat for my weather. I love the thickness and length and that it's belted and designed for a woman (as opposed to straight up and down). Although a large would fit fine, I went with the x-tra large so I could layer a heavy hoodie underneath so it's perfect for rainy and colder weather. Coat is also extremely well made and worth every bit of the price.

I haven't worn this coat in the rain yet, but the material feels like a raincoat. I bought a small and it fits like a glove! I'm 5'5" and 128lbs. I love form fitting jackets. The hood goes over your face to detour rain and the front zips up to cover your entire neck. The coat is light and classy. I might buy 1- more to match my navy rain boots too!

This is the best coat of any sort I have ever purchased. And the price is worth every penny. The fabric is incredible and impossible to describe in words. I love this brand and know it from living in Europe for a while. But now I am happy to see they are making coats like this that are not only sporty but also serve for work clothing, and are affordable. I can wear this coat daily, not only for rain but also in weather between 50 and 70 degrees. With a sweater, it can be worn in even colder weather of course. If you are very tall or have long arms, order up in a size or check the sleeve length. I usually wear a US small petite and the small in this coat fits me if I cuff the sleeve once. There is room for a sweater underneath. I believe the xsmall would be fine as well with less room to layer. I am 5’2 and weigh 125. I hope Amazon continues to offer more Helly Hansen. There is no comparison in quality to any other brand. Some of their coats are very pricey but this one is a great deal and comes with patches the repair it for future years.
