This is not for a garden hose. I see a lot of reviews saying this is not for USA use. It's not a garden water sprayer. It's use is for applying liquid solutions like pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers to crops by creating a fine mist or spray and distributing it evenly usually driven by a spraying system with a pump a tank, etc. 3/8" and 1/2" are the standard sizes for this. I'm sure you can get a 1/2" inlet barb pretty easily, perhaps its 1/2" with 1/2" barb, sorry I did not measure. I don't think it's going to be of much use attached to normal water hose that is not pressurized like a system to spray a mist of water. With that said, it could be described more accurately to not cause confusion. This is no toy tool, it is built very solid and has extra parts and o-rings for when they wear out for extended life.

This spray gun delivers a large volume of water from a commercial system out to a directed stream from a hand-held sprayer. This is not readily usable for residential purposes. It can be adapted with some extra parts, so be sure you have those if you're looking to use it at home. The handle has a thumb lever that allows you to lock the sprayer on or off, to reduce fatigue of having to grip the trigger nonstop. This is a formidable and durable sprayer that comes with an extra nozzle I guess in case the first one wears out, or maybe if you get hard water deposits in it. If you have a broad area of plants that like overhead watering, this can get it done!

The media could not be loaded. Have to admit, I am disappointed in this product. It seriously has 5 star potential if only the company provided another hose barb that fits standard 1/2’ and 3/4” garden hoses and instructions with options. To spend nearly 50 bucks and receive a product where I have to purchase additional accessories to use it is a red flag. Even if they included proper hose barbs for various sizes, you still need to obtain a hose clamp. The company includes a spare nozzle...why no additional hose connection options? AND there were zero instructions included, albeit most people can figure it out. But are there other options? I propose this question because the barb unscrews from the base of the gun which has both internal and external threads. What are the external threads for??? It gets 2 stars vs 1 because the gun appears to be heavy duty and offers a pretty neat option to adjust the spray pattern with a unique thumb trigger. Also, this company specializes in agricultural sprayers. Maybe the manufacturer will be reading this review (and the others that brought up similar concerns) and take the recommendations for action. In the meantime, unless you have the proper attachment fasteners/barbs, I would avoid this product.

This a well made, sturdy and durable short rod high pressure sprayer that pairs perfectly with a spray set up. It does not work to attach to a garden hose. The adjustable spray pattern is east to adjust and the the trigger can be locked. It also comes with an extra nozzle and the rings are standard. Overall though the barrel is short it delivers an excellent height spray and is well made enough that it a very good value.

It's my fault that it didn't register with me that the hose barb on this sprayer is not the same as a garden hose fitting; it's smaller. I'm going to have to give this a neutral three-star review because I don't have a way to test it. What I will say is that this sprayer seems to be quite solidly made and sturdy. It does NOT come with any instructions at all, however, so you'll need to know how to hook it to your insecticide/treatment source or do some research. I was hoping to use it to spray my nectaplum tree, the fruit of which is always getting destroyed by thrips, and I had a bucket siphon that works with my garden hose that I was planning to use to inject insecticide through this sprayer. But I'll have to either find an adapter for it or find out what else is available for use with it before I can put it to use. I will revisit this review and update it if I can get it working for me.

This spray nozzle is very heavy and high quality. It looks like it has all of the settings that were detailed in the online description; however it did not come with any sort of instruction sheet or manual. It came with some extra washers and pieces, but no instructions on what to do with them. It also did not have any cushioning in the package and the heavy metal burst through the cardboard box in several places as it got shaken up during shipping. I would have expected more attention to detail given the high price.

This is a well-made, high-quality commercial-grade sprayer. I've been using it at work with no complaints other than its length. It's a bit short for spraying harmful stuff that might blow back on you in the wind.
