We needed these as we travel a bit and use a car top carrier a lot. Our 2018 Suburban did not come with them so we bought them here as opposed to the $300 GM ones at the dealerships. They bolted right on and we have used them quite a bit. They use a hex head screw and took less than ten minutes to screw in both bars. I would highly recommend for any Suburban/Tahoe/Escalade/Yukon from 2015 to 2020 models.

Update: instructions were lacking some clarity. It wasn’t difficult to install. But we were not 100% sure of a few things. Luckily we found some YouTube videos to help us. First, you cannot unscrew the plastic “screws” from the flush rails on the sides of the roof. You can only unscrew to start. Then they do nothing but spin. BecUse they’re plug rivets. You can either cut the heads off and push the screw inside the rails, or pull them out by the heads with pliers like I did. Second, nothing says anything about the foam pieces with screw holes and a sticky side. Those are to put between the flush rails and the bracket that holds the crossbar. It creates a seal so water cannot get in the screw holes and rust anything. Third, when tightening the bracket and crossbar from underneath, remember you are looking at it backward. So your typical righty tighty lefty loosy does not apply here. You’re looking down at it backwards, so your direction to screw and unscrew will also be backward. Like I said, nothing about it was difficult though. And they are very sturdy and seem excellent quality. Now we are ready to strap the poles to the roof for our annual salt-water fishing trip for vacation. They’ll ride the 500 miles just fine! Arrived nicely packed. The crossbars seem to be of good quality. I will update (with pics and more information) when I get my car back out of the shop and install them.

WONDERDRIVER Part # WD04 ROOF RACK CROSS BAR (2) fit onto existing original equipment manufactured (OEM) ROOF RACK. Aluminum Cross Bars with end mounting caps are marked “FRONT” and “REAR” for installation. All screws, rubber pads, User Manual Instructions and wrenches needed included in Installation Kit. The cross bars require assembling End Caps onto each end of rail. They are marked “ FRONT “ with arrow for proper orientation. The mounting screws are factory installed in rails, requiring removal then placing cap on rail, reinsert screw and tighten. One side is slotted, allowing adjust for snug fit. The rear rail can be adjusted for short and long loads. The Instructions are minimal with pictures on two sides of 8-1/2x11 sheet of paper. Fit and finish of all components are excellent in my opinion and observation. There are no blemishes, scratches or manufacturing defects visible.
