Our family has recently rediscovered skating and got a pair of these for our son. He is 8 and wearing a big kids size 4-4.5, we ordered the smallest size, a women's 5. They have fit him well with enough room to grow, but not too big for him to begin using them now. These replaced an old loaner pair from a friend and he excitedly declared these to be SO much better than his first pair. He found them to be very smooth, and can turn better than on his old skates. Shipped quickly. I’ve used them a few times now and they’re fairly comfortable. Quality seems okay. For the price, I would probably just spend the extra $20 and get a name brand quality pair.

I got these rollerblades for my 9yo, and we were pleasantly surprised. They are very comfortable, the size is accurate, and they are very well built. They are light enough and soft enough, but are extremely rigid. The only difficulty is with tying the laces. However, we simply removed the laces altogether since the buckles are sufficient for keeping your feet secure. This may not be the case if you're using these for something more intense, like roller derby or roller hockey, but the buckles alone are fine for everyday skating. Excellent value. I got these because I wanted to get back into skating and didn't want to spend a lot on a first pair back. I skate outside mostly, just around the neighborhood, nothing serious. The fit is pretty snug with the lace and buckle system together and my foot doesn't move around much inside which I wasn't expecting at that price. The liner comes out and I've washed it once already which is nice because my feet sweat a lot in skates. The boot itself is stiff but not uncomfortable and loosened up a little after a few sessions. The wheels feel solid on pavement and I haven't had any issues with grip so far. They're a little heavier than I expected picking them up but once I'm moving I don't really notice it. ... show more
