I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. One of the best surprises was finding out that I was supporting a local business, which made me feel even better about buying it. The quality is top notch. Both the board and the cover are thick, sturdy, and built to last. You can immediately tell that care went into making this product. The biggest difference, though, is how much it improved the feel of my mattress. It added the support I was looking for and made sleeping much more comfortable. I honestly wish I had bought this sooner. If you’re on the fence, I highly recommend it!

So far, I'm really happy with this bunkie board. The overall build quality seems solid, and I like that it has a non-slip bottom, which keeps it from sliding around on my metal bed slats. I have a Purple 4 mattress, and I bought this to add a little more support since my bed was starting to sag slightly. It definitely seems to have helped. The mattress feels more supported, and I can already notice an improvement in how it feels when lying down. It's still early, so I can't comment on long-term durability yet, but based on my experience so far, it has done exactly what I was hoping it would.

Quality is great. - But as with any bunkie board it doesnt let circulation through. I can see wet patches from the mattress sweating - Also best quality available on amazon - wish it wouldnt cost as much as a mattress

If you are having trouble with your back, this bunkie board may be the solution. Before buying this, I did my research and read the reviews on many of these boards. One of the reviews on this particular one resonated with me. It sounded like a review I could have written. The gentleman and his wife kept buying new mattresses, until they bought this bunkie board. We went through the same process. We love the foam mattresses, however, after a year or two, we needed to replace them. Thank goodness they are relatively inexpensive. We like the mattress we have now, but noticed that it gets more uncomfortable as the night progresses. I was convinced that it sagged more as the night went on. Hence, my search for something other than plywood to test it out. Well, this bunkie board was the answer! We have a metal frame and this bunkie board fits perfectly and does not slide. It was so easy to set up, simply pick up the mattress and lay down the two boards. Since we have a metal frame and my husband and I are not lightweights, I got the heavy duty one for a little more money. I don’t know how sturdy the regular one would have been, but this one is solid. I definitely sleep better at night and wake up without an aching back. I very highly recommend this particular bunkie board!!

OKAY HEY HELLO LISTEN TO ME, I HAVE BEEN ON A GRUELING MATTRESS JOURNEY FOR NIGH 7 YEARS NOW. WE HAVE GONE THROUGH SEVERAL MATTRESSES IN THIS TIME. NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK. THEY DON'T MAKE MATTRESSES LIKE THEY USED TO, OF THAT I'M CERTAIN. PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE, NO DOUBT. WELL, PART OF THE PROBLEM MAY BE POOR QUALITY, BUT I NOW BELIEVE ANOTHER PART OF THE PROBLEM IS POOR SUPPORT. THAT IS, POOR BEDFRAME SUPPORT. YOU SEE, WE USED THE TYPICAL CHEAP WIRE BEDFRAME INITIALLY. NO MATTRESS SEEMED TO LAST MORE THAN A YEAR OR TWO BEFORE TERRIBLE SAGGING AND BACK PAIN ENSUED. THEN I STARTED TO THINK MAYBE THE PROBLEM WAS OUR BEDFRAME MORE THAN THE MATTRESSES WE WERE GETTING. SO WE GOT A BEDFRAME WITH WOOD SLATS WITH SMALL GAPS. A SLIGHT IMPROVEMENT, BUT THEY STILL HAD FLEX TO THEM AND SPACES IN BETWEEN, AND IT JUST SEEMED LIKE OUR MATTRESSES STARTED TO SAG A LITTLE AFTER PLOPPING THEM ON THERE. SO I THOUGHT...MAYBE I'LL SLAP A PLYWOOD SHEET IN THERE AND JUST GIVE IT A GO? BUT I WENT TO THE HOME DEPOT AND THERE WERE A MILLION TYPES OF PLYWOOD TO CHOOSE FROM, AND SO I JUST WALKED OUT. I DON'T LIKE HAVING A MILLION CHOICES. THIS IS WHY I LOVE RAISING CANE'S - THERE'S LIKE 2 DIFFERENT THINGS ON THE MENU. I CAN MAKE A DECISION WHEN EATING THERE. IT'S GREAT. THIS IS ALSO WHY I CAN'T GO TO CHEESECAKE FACTORY ANYMORE. NOT BECAUSE IT'S JUST MEDIOCRE AND OVERPRICED, BUT MOSTLY BECAUSE THERE'S A MILLION CHOICES AND AINT NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT. SO, I SAID 'FORGET THE PLYWOOD PLAY.' AND I DO THINK IT HELPED SOME! BUT...IT STILL SEEMED INADEQUATE. AFTER ALL, THERE WERE STILL SPACES BETWEEN THE TWO SETS OF SLATS, SPACE FOR THE MATTRESS TO SINK INTO OVER TIME AND COMPROMISE THE SUPPORT. YOU MUST HAVE PROPER SUPPORT IN YOUR MATTRESS OR YOU WILL DIE. SO...WE GOT A NEW MATTRESS RECENTLY, IDK I LOST COUNT, MAYBE OUR 8TH OR SOMETHING. AND INITIALLY IT WAS VERY NICE - SUPPORTIVE, FIRM, GOOD FOAM TOPLAYER AND SO ON. BUT...WITHIN WEEKS I FELT AS IF MY SIDE WAS BEGINNING TO KIND OF SAG. HOW!??!?!??! CONFOUND IT, I SAID NO MORE - LET'S LOOK ON AMAZON AGAIN, JUST FOR KICKS, AND SEE IF THERE BE ANY NEW BUNKIE BOARDS I CAN LOOK INTO. IT HAS GRIPPY GRIPS ON THE BOTTOM SIDE TO PREVENT SLIDING AROUND ON YOUR BEDFRAME - INGENIUS MOVE, MELIUSLY. If you want to make a bed sturdy and more comfortable you MUST add the Bunkie Board. Especially for a kids bed!! This eliminates creaking and adds stability to your bed frame. Years ago I purchased a day bed and the sales person asked if I wanted to add a bunkie board and I had never heard of one before. They had 2 beds in the showroom...identical but one had a bunkie board....so stable...no noise. This is a must have....especially if you are buying less expensive furniture. Cheap solution don't pass on it.
