It’s a cool looking watch and it has most of the basic G-Shock features you need. Radio time sync, solar powered, alarms, world time, stopwatch, and an auto light. The watch isn’t too big either, which is great for those of us with smaller wrists. I think the fire package colorway with a matte blue looks nice. Potential downsides for some may be that the font size is a bit smaller, but the display has good contrast. ... show more

Excelent watch and once you realize that the band is 16 mm you can replace it with a band that has a similar shape. Its durability is top notch and it works much like its 1980’s model counterpart only solar and with a more powerful radio receiver

Watch was smaller than anticipated… Bought for someone of larger stature, the band would never fit an 8in wrist. If you have an average or smaller wrist, this would be perfect.

This watch is incredibly accurate. I have an Orient self winding watch . It is accurate to +/- 5 seconds a day . Three hundred dollar watch . The Casio is solar and is accurate 15 seconds a month . So the Orient is off 15 minutes a month the Casio fifteen seconds a month . Orient = $300 Casio = $150

I purchased this watch because it had four specific features that I was looking for: 1) digital display; 2) round clock face; 3) tough solar; and 4) multiband 6, however now that I've unboxed it I realize that I'll have to return it. The displayed numerals on the clock face are too small. I expected it to match the two other Casio digital watches that I own, both of which are much more readable. Another issue: on the product page the picture of the watch shows a purplish metallic trim. Total fiction. It's silver. At first I thought that I had been sent the wrong item but the model numbers agree. Lastly, I ordered the watch two days ago and paid full price ($165). Today it's 25% off ($123.99). Even if I loved this watch (which I don't) I would return it. ... show more

    • Great Watch, Fatal Flaw: Casio G-Shock GW-2320FP (Fire Package)
The Casio G-Shock GW-2320FP "Fire Package" is a genuinely nice watch. It's got the classic G-Shock ruggedness, excellent visibility, and the superb one-two punch of Tough Solar and Multi-Band 6 atomic timekeeping. The unique colorway of the Fire Package version is fantastic and really makes it stand out. However, I had to make the disappointing decision to return it. The major drawback is the impossibility of customization or even just finding replacement parts. This model requires a specific plastic adapter piece to attach any standard strap (like a NATO) to the case, and Casio has seemingly discontinued making the original parts. For a watch designed for durability and long-term use, the inability to swap out the band down the line... or even just replace the resin if it breaks... is a serious oversight. It locks you into the factory resin strap forever. It's a shame that such a feature-packed and cool-looking watch is hampered by this small, non-replaceable component. If you never plan to change the band, it's a stellar G-Shock... but for those who value strap options, this is a dealbreaker. Disappointed! ... show more
