The brand, functional, weight and style. Plus, solar recharge, the size is for men too big for me but my son love it. Prefect for his more outdoor adventures and day to day use. The only thing is not a smart watch. But, he already has one this is perfect for his school use as smart devices are not allowed in class. It’s a cool looking watch and it has most of the basic G-Shock features you need. Radio time sync, solar powered, alarms, world time, stopwatch, and an auto light. The watch isn’t too big either, which is great for those of us with smaller wrists. I think the fire package colorway with a matte blue looks nice. Potential downsides for some may be that the font size is a bit smaller, but the display has good contrast. ... show more

Teeny band.
Great watch over all. I gave it a 4⭐️ rating because it came with a tiny band. I’ve never owned a G-Shock with such a short band. I can still wear it, but I wish there were larger replacement bands or even after market bands available.

An excellent watch. So far, has been exactly what it’s been advertised to be!
This is a very good watch! This is an upgrade to the one I purchased about 13 years ago and it’s been fantastic. I have them both now and they are both fabulous! I haven’t even replaced the original battery from the first one yet!

Great Watch, Fatal Flaw: Casio G-Shock GW-2320FP (Fire Package)
The Casio G-Shock GW-2320FP "Fire Package" is a genuinely nice watch. It's got the classic G-Shock ruggedness, excellent visibility, and the superb one-two punch of Tough Solar and Multi-Band 6 atomic timekeeping. The unique colorway of the Fire Package version is fantastic and really makes it stand out. However, I had to make the disappointing decision to return it. The major drawback is the impossibility of customization or even just finding replacement parts. This model requires a specific plastic adapter piece to attach any standard strap (like a NATO) to the case, and Casio has seemingly discontinued making the original parts. For a watch designed for durability and long-term use, the inability to swap out the band down the line... or even just replace the resin if it breaks... is a serious oversight. It locks you into the factory resin strap forever. It's a shame that such a feature-packed and cool-looking watch is hampered by this small, non-replaceable component. If you never plan to change the band, it's a stellar G-Shock... but for those who value strap options, this is a dealbreaker. Disappointed! ... show more

Ticking away the moments in a small day.
Had bought another brand of watch much less expensive for years and while they were waterproof the buttons would become hard to operate and the time would always be off. This GShock isn't overly large and while the strap does fit my wrist just fine I do see how it might not fit those with larger wrist. The time is updated every night and is indicated in reading RCVD on watch face. Has a battery level indicator and after I exposed watch to direct sunlight for several hours just ambient light has been enough to keep it fully charged. The numbers are a little smaller than what I like but you do get use to it. Like that it has an auto light setting that is activated by turning your arm so you don't have to push a button for the backlight which can be adjusted for how long it stays on. Contacted a G Shock watch distributor and they confirmed that there is a replacement band that will fit this watch. I have ordered one but haven't tried it out yet but it does look like it should fit judging by the measurements. ... show more

Excelent watch and once you realize that the band is 16 mm you can replace it with a band that has a similar shape. Its durability is top notch and it works much like its 1980’s model counterpart only solar and with a more powerful radio receiver

Time display is too small and item color does not match picture on product page

I purchased this watch because it had four specific features that I was looking for: 1) digital display; 2) round clock face; 3) tough solar; and 4) multiband 6, however now that I've unboxed it I realize that I'll have to return it. The displayed numerals on the clock face are too small. I expected it to match the two other Casio digital watches that I own, both of which are much more readable. Another issue: on the product page the picture of the watch shows a purplish metallic trim. Total fiction. It's silver. At first I thought that I had been sent the wrong item but the model numbers agree. Lastly, I ordered the watch two days ago and paid full price ($165). Today it's 25% off ($123.99). Even if I loved this watch (which I don't) I would return it. ... show more
