  • Exactly what I wanted
Color: Blue Size: Sauce Pan - 1 Qt
This pot is just so cute I could spit!! I love it! Despite all the information on the website, it is both smaller and heavier than I thought it would be. But it is the right size for me! A solid cast iron core. The helper handle is very, well, helpful. This pot looks and feels like a high quality product and I expect it to last just this side of forever. Very glad I took the chance and bought it. ... show more

  • Perfect for making a single serving of anything that requires boiling
Color: Sunset Orange Size: 1 Quart
My wife and I love this pot/pan. Far easier to clean than raw cast iron pots, and large enough to make a single serving of oatmeal (I make steel cut oats with it) or a batch of rice (3 cup serving). My only concern is since it's cast iron, it's heavy, and the handle is quite thin for the weight it's expected to support. So it will easily break if not handled carefully. It has a "hanging loop" opposite the handle so when it's full I usually carry it from both sides. Overall a good buy. ... show more

  • Perfect for my use
Color: Sunset Orange Size: 1 Quart
I don't like using the smallest pot in my three-pot set for pasta sauce, as (being intended for things like soup) even the smallest pot is generally too big for just pasta sauce. This encourages putting too much pasta sauce in the pot (wasteful!) OR using some other means to heat up the right amount, such as the microwave (Ugh!) I wanted a pot this size or even smaller, solely for use for pasta sauce ; this pretty little pot is just the right size, the ceramic lining cleans up nicely, and I love the color. Since cast iron can get hot, use an oven mitt when handling ; I have two Ov Gloves, and that's what I use whenever handling anything made of cast iron. Anyway, for our needs it's perfect, to the point I am getting a second one : One for alfredo, one for tomato-based sauces. For anything more than that...well...it probably is too small, as the stated dimensions and the photo show. But for just the two of us, AND just for pasta sauce, it's exactly what was wanted/needed. ... show more

  • CHIPS TOO EASILY
Color: Sunset Orange Size: 1 Quart
I like the pot and how it cooks. But the enamel is not durable. It chipped on first use. A month later, it has so many chips I can hardly count. I have a larger pot by another brand (just a little more expensive) that has yet to chip. I only bought this because I needed a small size. I would NOT buy again. I'm now looking for an 18/10 stainless steel 1 qt. pot. They are not easy to find. ... show more

  • Terrible Handle Design Takes Away 1 Star
Color: Blue Size: Sauce Pan - 1 Qt
This sauce pan performs the way any enameled cast iron does. Heats quickly and evenly. The 1-quart size is ideal for individual portions. Easy to clean. The problem is the terrible handle. It’s too short and is essentially round. This makes it very difficult to pour out its contents because the pan’s size and weight make it impossible to use just one hand to tip the pan. The handle tends to slip and spin in your hand, even if using a silicone gripper. For thicker dishes like grits or polenta, this is extremely inconvenient. I’m keeping the pan because I can live with its shortcomings, but a redesigned handle would do this pan wonders. ... show more

  • induction cooktop
Color: Blue Size: 8"
Wow, What a great pan! the finish and quality was well above expected. We have a glass top Induction cooktop so I was concerned that the bottom of the pan would scratch. Well no, it is covered in smooth enamel. The pan heats up instantly and is not too heavy. A great buy.

  • perfect pan if you live alone
Color: Red Size: 8"
I love love this pan. It may not ever leave my stovetop. Has all the qualities of a plain cast iron pan with the added ease of use with the enameled coating. My new favorite pan for mushrooms and wine. also does a great job on burgers now that it's cold out. Only had it 1 day so the list will grow

  • Great for solo oatmeal but poor quality
Color: Sunset Orange Size: 1 Quart
I like to cook my oatmeal with it, then I can eat out of the same vessel. Love the flame orange color. Great little oatmeal machine! (edited): BUT... after using it for less than 2 months (about every other day) the quality is breaking down so I have to drop a couple of stars. Even though I hand dry and oil down the exposed cast iron parts, it's starting a couple of problem rust areas, and developed a big chip on the bottom and another one on the smaller handle from normal use with no accidents. Love the pan, but I will have to replace it sooner than later with something of better quality. ... show more
