The vise grip is pretty good, as is the ‘gooseneck’ assembly. HOWEVER… the dial indicator is absolute rubbish. The one I received was missing one of the setting pointers, which just clip on the bezel and fall off easily. When turning the bezel, the interior number ring only moved erratically. Sometimes not at all. Worthless and grossly overpriced.

This is a great dial indicator and a must have tool to determine if you have ball joints that are bad/going bad or if you have rotor runout. We had a car that when you where braking would vibrate and shake the steering wheel. With this tool we were able to determine which rotor was warped and get it replaced. Saved time and money of guessing and throwing parts at the car. It did not come with instructions so you may have to watch some online videos about how to use it if you are not familiar but it is not hard to use. It can be challenging to get the dial zeroed perfectly but once you do it seems to be pretty accurate. Highly recommended!

Quality of these parts is overall okay but the indicator doesn't repeat or zero properly which is essential for checking brake rotor runout. Very disappointed.
