I tried to change the brakes with a pair of pliers but couldn't get it done. I ordered this and had it the next day. Once I had the correct tool for the job I was able to finish the job. The only downside is you can't really see the cap so it took a few attempts but was able to get it to seat. Works as expected. Wish I had gotten it sooner and could have saved a day. Worth it's weight in gold. I used this tool when doing the brakes on my son's 2005 Toyota Corolla Save your fingers, and avoid wrestling with needle-nose pliers. Inexpensive and super time and finger saver. Pays for itself instantly.

This tool seems to be well made. The inside is a cone, not flat like the picture, so it continually shoots the metal locking disk and spring off into the void at terrific speeds. Comfortable handle and looks well made, but useless for its intended purpose. Returning it.
