Ordered these bar stools and they matched perfect for what I was wanting, but they are defective. They come in two separate pieces, the base and the seat. The seat would screw into the base about 2 inches and then would not go any further to make the seat adjustable. We worked for quiet a while trying to get them to screw together, but were unsuccessful. So I am exchanging them for a new set in hopes of getting a pair that will easily spin to change the height of the seat. I waited a week to get these stools, not a big deal, but now the new replacement stools are not supposed to be here for another week and a half that I will be waiting. ... show more

These are taller than I expected. I need counter height. I figured out that if I remove the adjustment bar from the threaded rod before screwing it onto the legs and then put it back on between the legs, I could get the seats a couple inches lower. They seem sturdy and well constructed. There was a manufacturing flaw in one of the them and another was crooked but the seller sent me replacement parts, which I appreciated. The seller was prompt and clear in their communication with me, which made things go more smoothly. My husband was glad they were narrower than and less bulky than he was expecting. Cute chairs and easy to put together BUT they are extremely uncomfortable even after adding seat pads. We had to raise them to seat height of 34 inches and at this height the seat is wobbly. Also, when you raise the seat, the foot rest doesn't move. I'm 5'2" and my feet just dangled without any support. I ended up returning them. ... show more

the chairs are easy to assemble, but the base is so narrow they easily tip. These would be great if the legs were 4 or 5 inches wider. They are not safe.

I ordered 4 of these barstools for our kitchen island. These stools look great and functioned well at our kitchen counter for the first few months. My kids mainly sit at the island for breakfast or snack and after just a few months one of the bar stools had broken completely. The base of the seat that should be welded to the post that swivels had totally come off. This isn’t something that could be fixed easily, so we are down to three stools. Now, about a month later, a second stool has began wobbling. I’m disappointed in the quality since we love the look. I hope this is a defect in this particular stool and not in the design of the stools all together. ... show more

Breakfast bar stools. Overall what I expected however the back rest is improperly welded to the chair base. The bolts can not be tightened properly without grinding into the chair base. The frame should be flush with the edge so the bolt can be adequately torqued or the base should be welded further off the chair base so the bolt does not have to grind into the metal chair base to tighten it the last 3/8”. You can see the alignment and position in the photo. Decent quality but poor design/attachment of chair back as described. Now I will have to customize spacers or something to get the chair back adequately attached. ... show more

These stools fit perfectly at our kirchen island without taking up a lot of space. The ability to adjust the seat height means everyone from children to tall adults can adjust them to the height that fits them. The only trouble we had was one of the inserts was crooked and the screw could not be put in. We did correct it and were able to get it put together. They are easily wiped clean.
