I have a classic car that required new springs for drum brakes, and new pads for disc brakes. I researched a bit before I arrived at these tools as an option. For the drum brake tools, they definitely worked great in prying off the old springs--but getting them back on required more than the tools themselves, it required a second hand, strength, and a lot of swearing! It may be a different story depending on the car that you're working on. As for the caliper compression tool, my car only had one piston per caliper--so it was easy enough to find the fitment that was the right size, and I simply used it in addition to one of the existing, old brake pads to push the piston back into place before putting in new brake pads. It's not the greatest set, but it doesn't have to be. None of the tools broke when I was using them, and at the end of my project, my car's brakes are functioning the way they should now.

Only used pad/caliper tools so far. Cases are a little on the cheap side but still are acceptable. Good sets for occasional DIY use.

I bought this tool kit to work on my drum breaks. It will make the job easier since some specialty tools are in the kit. The fit and look is great. The feel of the tools in the kit are comfortable and I consider it a great buy since having the right tool makes the job easier. Great value for my money. As for rust resistance, I don't know yet since I just bought them and I take care of my tools. I still thing it was a great buy.

This entire kit is everything you need for the job. It literally made changing calipers extra easy and made the process more streamlined for home use. Definitely can easily be used for professionals if they wanted to. I really do plan on getting more items from Orion Tech as they have tons of things I like and tons of things I need to be a DIYer at home.
