Great tool! It definitely got the job done!
I recently bought a house that had some smaller trees that needed to come down and some limbs that needed to be cut down from the bigger trees and this saw got the job done! I was surprised at how long the battery lasted. And was impressed by how it cut smoothly through the trees I cut! Love how lightweight and easy to use it is. Maintenance was a breeze when it came to change the blades and tightening

a really great tool, so far
I can't speak to durability since I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but during this time it's been really great. I have this big tree that fell in my yard, and my shoulder is injured so I can't use my full-sized two-hand chainsaw for a couple of months. So I ordered this one-hand saw, to start taking off the limbs in the meantime. But actually it makes deep crosscuts also, I guess up to 12 inches if you can work from both sides, though I haven't gotten that far down on the trunk yet. For these deep cuts I recommend taking off the top-side chain-guard, which is just held on by one screw with a spring. Then you can use the topside of the bar where the chain runs backwards to do undercuts, just like with a full-sized two-hand chainsaw. (It helps to brace it with your knee; otherwise it may chitter.) I used that undercut technique with the two deep crosscuts shown in these pictures. And the combination of power and cordless portability is really great. I am never going up in a tree again without one of these on my belt.

Sharp, small and great
We have 6 fruit trees and these work great to trim back dead or broken branches and you don't need cords gas or a bigger person to do the job. It also makes quick work of cutting up smaller logs for firewood and when we had a big branch fall on a near by tree it was quick to get it in peices and haul it off.

this little saw is a champ
Honestly, I did not expect much from this saw, given the price, but I was positively surprised at how sturdy it is, how well it cuts and coming with two batteries is definitely a great deal. I have used this thing for many hours now and the chain is still sharp like new and it is cutting through branches and limbs that are thicker than what I thought it could handle. The only thing I did after the first few cuts was to remove the top chain guard. It got hung up in branches and vibrated and bounced around to the point of where it was in the way and made it more difficult to use the saw. Aside from that, I would recommend this saw. For me as a homeowner with about 10 fruit trees to prune it was definitely worth the money.

Angry that I didn't buy this saw sooner.
This is an awesome tool for simple home yard maintenance. It makes pruning small trees a breeze. My only criticism is that it uses a lot of oil for a battery powered saw. Regardless, I highly recommend this product.

Great gadget for yard work
There are times you don't want to deal w your chain saw or cut by hand, like 4-6" trees/ branches. This is light weight, cuts well, and has good battery life ( but you will need both batteries to fell a 6-7" tree ). I appreciate that they provided 2 batteries.

I've had it 3 days and it's a blast to use trimming/sawing trees
I just received this 3 days ago and I'm really impressed. I took it out and helped a friend cut down a bunch of young trees that were around 4-6 inches in diameter, so smaller than this blade. But I also used it to trim down some much bigger stumps that this thing cut through like butter. I used up 2 batteries over 45 min to 1 hour of sawing. And most of the sawing was through very green wood that had a decent amount of moisture. I used some vegetable oil to lubricate the blade after I got done (just a little goes a long ways). I'm hoping the batteries hold up in the long run, but it's cool you get 2 for this type of price. I even took the back of the battery off to look at the Li-on cells, they look decent, so I would think they would hold up. I would suggest letting the batteries cool down after using them before you plug them into the charger, just to preserve their longevity (li-on batteries can age prematurely if hot when put on recharger).
