We are older and will have to get used to not having a boxspring under the mattress. So for us the height is lower and it feels a bit different, but still comfortable. Having the bench with storage as the footboard was why I kept coming back to this bed while I was shopping for one - it's perfect! Overall the frame seems solid and sturdy, the thing i would change is the side panels - they look nice but being so low to the floor your feet hit them and you can't get a vacuum cleaner under the bed. It was easy to assemble. Instructions were clear. Follow the step-by-step. Don’t try to put the word with the frame. It says no noise, but that’s just for the metal. The wood does make a little noise here and there quality is fair the size it’s perfect. There was one wrong mistake under the instructions when you’re assembling The storage box. I had my expectations that it was going to be a little weak in the base part, but the material is super hard and holds the mattress very firmly. I wanted the style to be taller for my taste but apart from that I recommend it. Excellent product, I would buy another one, without a doubt.

We bought this bed frame for our guest room and love the way it looks! It was pretty easy to put together, 2 of us got it done in a couple of hours. Seems very sturdy, I love the storage area at the foot of the frame. Minimal to no squeaks/noise when laying on it. The padded lid to the storage compartment did come with a tear. After contacting the company & getting through some amazon messaging difficulties the company did get us a replacement asap. Through the whole process the company did a great job with keeping me in the loop & making sure we got the replacement & was happy. I would recommend this to others! ... show more

Absolutely horrible. We opened up the box only to see that the supports on the side that connect the bench and headboard were COMPLETELY crooked. The legs were literally floating. Not only that, but because they were bent, everything else came out crooked by the end of building it. This is not worth the price. It's worth less. The bolts being on the outside on the same side pieces also made the wood on the sides poke out and be completely asymmetrical. Attached photos below. Do not buy. I had similar problems with a smaller version of this bed from the same company. Not worth the cheap price when you're falling into your damn bed as the bars fall in. ... show more
