Finish installing the unit and has been running it for 1 month. First of all tech support was excellent, called in the adapter to the compression tube was missing. The tech help solve what was the issue and shipped out the right set ASAP. Thanks!! The unit has an error code E1 so called in again and as always got the support ASAP. The contract hook up the wire incorrectly, re-wire and got that done and unit work like a charm. Unit run supper quite, when it;s on you don't even here it's running on the inside. The compressor kick on super quite also compare to my central AC you will notice whenever the compressor come on. This unit has exceeded my expectations and preform perfectly. I keep my house at a brisk 69, while living the heart of the Phoenix metro area where temps are easily 95+ and in most cases 105+. I built a small house that's 1250 sqft and the unit has kept everything a stable temp throughout my home. It even has a dehumidifier option which has allowed me to control humidity. I am a HVAC tech so installing these minisplits wasn't very difficult, but I believe for those who are DIYers can install this as well assuming they're reading instructions carefully and if possible have a experienced friend or local guy to come by and just walk then through the process. It also would be helpful if you can get some tools lent to you like gauges and a vacuum for the lineset. ... show more

After 2 yrs of service it quit working. Heat strip quit and the ac stopped blowing. Full of refrigeratant but just quit working. Hvac tech said to buy a name brand in future. 3k wasted.

one of the heads had a small leak. contacted Cooper and Hunter and sent a video of the leak. They were willing to send a new head but charged me a shipping fee. First quoted $169 for shipping and then was told it could come ground freight for $35. I paid the $35 to just get the head, but I don't feel that I should be charged anything for shipping. I can't say enough good things about this system so far. Keeps the rooms cold and quiet as a church mouse. As for the seller, great customer support with quick responses.     • DON'T GET BURNED! Mini split DEAD after 1.5 years of use.

My unit kicked the bucket after just after a year and a half of use. I had it installed professionally by a licensed HVAC company, but C&H won't honor the warrantee. Had another tech come out to do the troubleshooting, per C&H's demands, and they determined that the inverter and compressor have failed. Parts cost more then to replace the entire condenser unit. Make sure your HVAC installer registers the unit and call C&H to confirm, otherwise you'll get burned like me and be out $5K for the unit and install costs. This unit has put me $10K in the hole, with the replacement costing me another $5K to purchase and have it installed. ... show more
