I have replaced any bridge pins resembling plastic on any acoustic guitar (several dozen, over the years) I've ever owned with ebony pins. They look better and I personally think they help tighten up the tone on any steel string acoustic guitar.

Thanks to an Amazon reviewer's recommendation, I bought these pins for my new Sigma acoustic guitar. Just as promised, they fit perfectly and without my having to sand the pins down or make the pin holes larger. It's always guesswork when buying new bridge pins because you never know if they will fit. As an added touch, the seller Musiclily threw in a pick. Usually a free pick is not much to get excited about but this pick is on thick/heavy side and produces a very nice tone on my guitar (not too bright, not too noisy). Overall, I highly recommend these pins but you may want to ask in Q & A area beforehand to see if someone has used these pins on the same or similar guitar that you have. ... show more

Great value. A little tight, but that's better than too loose any day. As these were for a vintage acoustic that wasn't particularly valuable, they really hit the sweet spot.

These are good wood pins that are sized about industry standard. Style is not too fancy and fit the style of the guitar. My factory pins are 5.2mm at the top of the shaft tapering to 3.4mm (holes are 5.0mm at the top). The pins stood so low that standard pin tools won't grab anything and you have to take them out by putting your hand through the sound hole and pushing up from inside. These stood proud about half the height, and needed a good 25-35 turns on the reamer to fit these where I like, but I do appreciate factory pins being smaller by default so you at least get one opportunity to rework with "standard" industry pins. Reamers aren't too expensive, and you can set new pins to your liking. ... show more

These were replacements for a mismatched set on a vintage early 70's Yamaha FG 75. Snug fit with no sanding or reaming needed. Will probably use these again on a couple other older Yamaha's I have.

Bought these for my Martin and like someone else already pointed out, they fit loose. I have to hold the pin in while tightening the string to keep it from coming out, after which it does seem to stay ok. They look fine but I’m not impressed with durability. After just 1 string change, the end of one or two are splitting already. ... show more
