It is a good quality product. However, someone in Malaysia had a bring your kid to work day and turned them loose with the staple gun. The legs of the table were stapled into the bottom side. Problem is, this is hardwood, and those staples are in there good! Took me almost an hour and several wounds from sharp staples to get to where I could even start assembly. This was both annoying and unnecessary. Next, there are so many screws to put all the chairs together I actually got blisters on my hand from the little hex wrench they sent. Do yourself a favor and get a bit for your drill that will work.

I purchased this set for my parents. My son assembled the chairs, he is 17. So that went ok, except that the pre-drilled holes did not match up, so he had to force the screws, and the legs are uneven and wobble. The table was a total nightmare to assemble. My husband is a builder so it's not like he was incapable. the screws they sent were not long enough to grab and they stripped and broke off inside the leg. This caused much time getting those screws out and furnishing our own to finish the table. The overall leg design is such that once assembled, the top rocks side to side. Also, the table is cute enough, but there is hardly any finish on the top, so a glass of water or anything will leave a stain. I need to put a coat of poly on it to give it some stain resistance. It is now all put together, and we imagine taking it all apart and attempting a return would be a nightmare, so we have to suck it up, glue it and poly the top. Good luck to you if you choose this product!

I went back-and-forth at different retailers for this table. I ordered this table through Amazon Because I got it for almost a $125 less. That's including paying the 199 dollars for shipping . I love everything about this table. The chairs were very easy to put together. Just took a little time because I used a screwdriver instead of a drill. I did not want to strip anything. I absolutely love how All the screws come with both washers already intact, all you have to do is pick up the screw you need and go to work. Now when it comes to putting the table together the issue I had there was the wood screws that are provided are not of the best strength. After putting the legs together, it seemed wobbly to me. So my husband took those screws out and he brought me some of his really good screws that were also a little bit longer and stronger... We put those in and it seemed much more secure. The directions don't give any words but the pictures were pretty decent. I love the color and the texture. I was a little skeptical but all in all.I'm happy with my purchase. So so far so good...
