  • Good quality incubator and perfect for a teaching experience
This incubator was easy to assemble and all instructions are included to help walk you through the process. This will be placed in a classroom setting so kids can watch and learn. The price is quite reasonable. I would definitely buy this incubator. It has the ability to roll the eggs, maintain temperature and humidity and has a candle light so you can check for signs of life in the egg. ... show more

  • 16 Egg Incubator!
After unboxing and setting up the CoInceptus 16-Egg Incubator, I’ve found it to be a capable mid-sized unit, though it requires a few "pro-user" tweaks to get it running safely and accurately. We are seasoned hatchers with two other units currently in use, so we’re excited to see how this one compares. The Pros: High Capacity & Automation Great Egg Capacity: It holds 16 eggs comfortably, which is a perfect "sweet spot" for hobbyists—plenty of eggs to ensure a good hatch rate without being overwhelming. Reliable Rotation: The automatic turner rotates every 90 minutes, which is essential for healthy embryo development and saves a lot of manual labor. Built-in Candler: Having the egg candler included makes it easy to monitor progress without needing extra equipment. The Cons: Missing Essentials No Humidity Monitoring: This is a significant drawback. The unit does not track humidity levels, which is just as critical as temperature for a successful hatch. Missing Water Bottle: It doesn’t come with a water bottle for the external reservoir. Pro Tip: Thanks to other reviewers, I found that a standard soda bottle fits perfectly. Internal Wiring Safety: There is a wire on the inside that hangs down and sits right on the rollers. This is a safety hazard for new chicks; I’ll need to secure it to the lid to ensure they don't get tangled or injured after they zip. Setup Tips & Observations The Styrofoam Shell: The incubator comes in a styrofoam box designed to help maintain heat in cooler environments. Be careful during unboxing: I managed to remove the unit without breaking the foam by sliding it out diagonally, but it’s thin and could snap easily if you force it. The Hygrometer Hack: Since it doesn't monitor humidity, I am planning to mount a separate hygrometer inside the box to keep a close eye on the moisture levels. Final Verdict Overall, we are going to give it a fair trial. It has the basic features needed for success, but you definitely need to be prepared to "DIY" a few solutions (like the bottle and the wire management) before you set your eggs. Given our success with our other two incubators, we’re hopeful this one will be a solid addition to our hatching setup. Current Status: Testing phase. Hopefully, it doesn't disappoint! ... show more

  • Reliable 16-Egg Incubator with Automatic Turning & Temperature Alerts
I ordered this incubator to hatch a small batch of poultry eggs, and the 16-egg capacity is ideal for home use without taking up much space. It comfortably fits standard chicken eggs and can also accommodate smaller eggs such as quail. Assembly may seem a bit daunting at first, but the directions are clear and easy to follow when taken step by step. I chose to use the electric power option, though it also includes a battery connection for added flexibility. The built-in sensors help maintain stable incubation conditions. The unit reaches the set temperature in about an hour and operates within the stated range of 68–104°F (20–39.5°C). Temperature adjustment is straightforward, and the red indicator light stays on until the selected temperature is reached. An audible alarm alerts if the temperature moves outside the set range. Once the turning wire is connected, the incubator automatically turns the eggs approximately every 90 minutes, reducing the need for manual handling and helping prevent embryos from sticking to the shell. Humidity is supported by an external water bottle system with an automatic water-adding base (water bottles not included), allowing water to be added without opening the lid. A standard 16 oz bottle did not fit properly due to thread length, but a 12 oz soda bottle worked well. While humidity values are not displayed, this setup helps maintain more consistent internal conditions. The built-in egg candler is convenient for checking development without a separate tool. I also kept the white foam packaging to use as insulation during very cold temperatures, as recommended, to help maintain warmth. I ordered this for my niece while she is caring for our remaining hens and rooster after a predator attack, and it provides a practical way to hatch fertile eggs and begin rebuilding our flock. Overall, this incubator works well for small backyard or hobby hatching needs. ... show more

  • Happy hatching!
I’ve got handful of incubators to hatch different breeds this spring and not get mixed up. I dot have one that can fit different sized eggs UNTIL this one! Very easy to set up and clean. Very happy with the size I have a black folding table I sit all of my incubators on and I can fit 10 side by sides love that this is automatic and I don’t have to worry about opening every so often to roll and turn the eggs by hand. You can very easy adjust the humidity based on what you’re hatching and that is a plus when you have multiple incubators especially ones that can do a wide range of egg sizes. Definitely worth the money and it is very stable. Sits flat on my table no wobbles or shifting. Can’t wait to start hatching all sorts of eggs this spring! ... show more
