I am by no means an expert, or a professional when it comes to audio equipment, but what these units are producing and the amount of air they move, is not what you normally get at this price point. Usually the higher the price, the better the sound. Not in this case though, the price you're paying is for some wally world specials, but what you're getting is a well built, high quality materials, and a work horse of a subwoofer. I have a set of the 12's and a set of the 10's and they both are equally impressive. Biggest suggestion that I can give you, is allow them time to be worn in, they are stiff AF when you get them. As they warm and flex, they get better. I'm running the 2 10s with dual 2 ohm vc's at a combined 2 ohm load to the amp. Running a RD.1500.1 JL Audio amp and these subs eat every watt and can take way more. The 10s are in a custom built box under the back seats, box is tuned (ported) to 32hz. My 12s are each powered by a Harmony Audio 1500/1, and they could easily run way more power. Wired to a 1 ohm load each, and in a custom box built to Harmonys air space requirements. ... show more

I have 2 10s In a vented Box Hitting Very hard Even though they are under powered by my Amp.Im running the Skar 2000.1d to these and they hit hard and clean. If you want great built subs that Are under $200 bye these, When people find out how good these are the price will skyrocket due to supply and demand ... show more

So I got 2 of the 2ohm subs and my goodness are they hefty. I have each sub paired to a NVX n series 1000 watt RMS amp and damn do they get loud. So $330 for subs, $360 for amps, plus about $200 for fusing & wiring and you can hear me a mile away
