  • Solid Quality Assistance Whenever Needed
This was a terrific purchase which helped me greatly. I wish I had bought one of these sooner, but it delivered incredible assistance whenever I had to move loads. Extremely strong and sturdy and mightily handled tough loads and facilitated me with ease. A great buy!

  • Use proper tool to tighten the screws!
Easy product to assemble, however, like others have noted, make sure to check where the swivel wheels should be as the schematic in the box is not the same as what the directions say (follow the directions). I made the mistake of hand tightening the screws to hold the wheels in place. We used this item to move my sons stuff into college. It went from the dorm parking lot, easily into the dorm building, then we moved our car 3 bloxks away. When we were pulling to the cart to go to our car, we lost a wheel in about 2 blocks. A quick look and all the screws had come out of that wheel and a number of screws had come out of the other wheels. So much for hand tightening. I retraced my steps and found all but 1 screw, got the cart home and found the correct tool to tighten the screws properly. So, lesson to others, do not hand tighten those screws. This item folds easily for storage and seems quite durable. My only "issue" is that we are all about 6 ' or taller in my family, so we have to "bend" to be able to pull the cart, but it is a very minor issue as it sure beats having to lug things around! ... show more

  • The concept of design is good, the production quality - as I said
The rubber on the wheels stinks - if you have the cart in a closed place, you are certain to feel that. Each wheel base is connected by four screws to the body, the sheet metal is threaded, so you put the screws right into it. That makes it 16 threaded holes. In my case all the treads but one were O.K. - with quality control non-existent, you have to be lucky. So, one wheel plate is supported by three screws, for the fourth thread was too big to hold the screw. It takes one movement to thread on the assembly line, if the move was wrong, it goes anyway - very common thing to most Chinese production. This is how it comes to reviews: if that screw hole were O.K. - I would put one more star. That said, it works for my purpose of organizing the space in the garage, so that I can move the stack of some not too-heavy boxes stored on top of the cart, when I have to clear the way. The stink from rubber seem to become a little less with the time - or I got used to it (?). The concept of design is good, the production quality - as I said. With heavier use, I would have issues, but with light use I still can say three stars. I still would not give five stars for the way it is threaded is not solid enough in my view - a very cheap way, probably just two more bucks would put some solid nuts inside and make the difference. ... show more

  • Easy to build, stable, and folds down quite small
I used this cart when I recently moved house. The instructions for putting the cart together are simple, and easy to do. I used a socket wrench to tighten up the wheels, and that's all you really need to do. The bar you press down on to fold the handle takes a bit of practice to get used to, because it also tips up the front of the cart (like a skateboard), but once you're used to it that actually helps you put the cart away. It folds down to be quite flat. I managed to fit the cart into my trunk on top of a bunch of boxes, and I have a relatively small Ford Fiesta SE. The wheels do not fold away, so they are the parts that make it difficult to arrange on top of other things. If you really needed to you could remove the wheels and put them back on in a matter of minutes as long as you have your socket wrench with you. I'm glad I bought this cart, it made it much easier to move house. ... show more

  • Good Hand Truck For The Price
I got this hand truck mainly for transporting boxes and other somewhat large/heavy items to and from my vehicle to my storage unit. Even though it's only about one-third the size of the carts you can borrow at the storage facility, they only have maybe three available to use, and most of the time I go there they're being used and I have to wait around for one to be free. So, I decided it would be worth the $40 to invest in one of these hand trucks so I wouldn't waste time waiting for a cart to be free at the storage place anymore. I've had it for about three months now, it's not exactly the highest quality cart you could get, but for the price it's not bad at all. Despite it's small-ish size, for what I use it for it's proved worth it. No major issues I can speak of so far. It's simple assemble and simple to use. I placed the swivel castors at the same end as the handle bar to use it as a pull cart rather than a push cart (just a personal preference). Note: The assembly instructions don't specify the size of hex socket to screw the castor bolts in, I used 12mm. Also, when folding the handle bar down or pulling it up, I always do it by hand, I feel like stepping on the bar that keeps it in place is a fall waiting to happen since the wheels are not locked. Again, it's not the highest quality, and I haven't tested its stated weight limit, but it's been sufficient in the items I've transported with it so far. It can hold one Home Depot moving box, which I believe is 18"x18" horizontally (while the storage unit's carts can hold three side by side), but you can stack two, maybe three vertically. It's small and light enough to easily transport to and from a vehicle when the handle bar is folded down, also easy to store away or keep in a car trunk. Although, rolling it when nothing of substantial size and weight is placed on it, it feels like it can flop around. Overall, I'm pleased with the hand truck so far. I find it fairly priced (and even currently less than what I paid for it at the time of writing this review), I'd recommend it. ... show more
