Its simple yet effective design safeguards your scope against dings, scuffs, scratches, dust, dirt, and moisture. The absorptive qualities of the Neoprene draw moisture and condensation away from your scope and helps protect it from the elements. Scopecoat stretches approximately 10% and the "perfect fit" is a matter of personal preference -- ranging between a relaxed fit to a more form-fitted one.

This cover works as intended. It will keep dust off your sight glass and will protect it from scratches. Unfortunately, there are no real covers on the mark for Eotech sights. But this will do the job until something better comes out. It fits nicely over the sight. It is made out of polypropylene, so it has some elasticity to it remains secure on the sight. Bought this to protect lens when hunting. Works well while sitting to keep rain and snow off lenses. It removes easily and quietly and you can stuff it in your pocket. One drawback, you can lose it while walking with your gun strapped over your shoulder. I recommend buying 2 (I lost one), or perhaps adding an elastic strap to it, if your gun rail has room underneath your eotech. ... show more

Does what it’s supposed to. Keep the dust and dirt off the optic while in storage or transport. Doesn’t have any sort of elastic band to keep mounted. But does fit nice and tight. Not as thick as some competitors. But does work and should last. Fitted to a 512

Just what the doctor ordered! It fits well and keep dust off the lenses when your optic is not in use. An EOTech is an expensive optic, and even in a safe, some dust gets in when it’s open…. So it’s money well spent!

    • Good Fit - For Me a Must-Have
I don't know why EOTech doesn't provide some sort of protective cover for its sights, but they don't. I didn't want to install one that requires you to remove the site's shroud, since that will void the warranty. So I opted for this. It fits well and I expect it will offer good protection, including from rain. It's probably over-priced for what it is, but it is also a unique, custom item. I can live with that. I recommend this is you have an expensive EOTech and want to give it a little more protection from the elements. ... show more

Not as inexpensive as they used to be, but what is nowadays? Third one of these I've purchased; they keep the dust and crap off the EoTech 512 and they hold up pretty well. Oldest one I have is 10+ years old and it's still reasonably stretchy and stays on reasonably. These are good; highly recommend. ... show more
