    • Rusted after 1 year UPDATE!

This is a really nice looking and sturdy set, but the issue is with constant rusting. The rust runs off the furniture whenever it rains or gets wet. It ruined a patio rug last year. I could not tell where the brown rusty water was running from. I had it covered all winter and uncovered recently only to find that one of the chairs has rusted. I paid over $400.00 for a 4 piece set and feel I didn't get what I paid for. I do NOT recommend this set. Looks great but has a product defect. UPDATE: I want to amend my review. Melody at Hippatio reached out to me to rectify my problem. She was extremely attentive and offered several solutions. The media could not be loaded. Great patio set for the price!! You will pay double this price in any store. Yes, the table is a bit smaller than some and the chairs are somewhat lighter. But, overall, it’s fantastic. The chair assembly was a little tricky based on my husbands cussing I could hear from inside, but even he is enjoying this table and chairs now :) ... show more

Unfortunately the table top was damaged when it arrived. I contacted the seller and they resolved the problem by sending a new table. The patio set now looks great in our pool area. I’m very pleased with the product and the excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend Happatio to anyone.

    • WILL Rust! Do not purchase for outdoor use unless shielded from rain. (See update 2023)
This furniture WILL rust when left exposed to rain. I have attempted to use a spray rust inhibitor and yet there is STILL considerable rust. It is getting to the point where I'm worried about it possibly staining my deck. I regret not returning this when we first received it but I was hopeful that I could use a rust inhibitor which turned out to make little or no difference at all. Update 6/5/2023: Happatio customer service has reached out to me to resolve this issue by offering a full refund or replacement. I could only wish that more companies were this accommodating. Definitely 5 stars for outstanding customer service. Would not hesitate to give them a second chance in the future. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. When I first got this the base of one of the swivel chairs was all misaligned causing me to not be able to build one chair. I reached out to the company and they were quick to respond and help me. Turns out I just had to take the piece all apart and realign it myself which was relatively easy. I was able to put the table and all the chairs together by myself but I would definitely recommend a power drill with an allen wrench bit to save time. It is quite a pleasant looking set, I am extremely happy with it. I also like that you can sit in the chairs soaking wet (from the pool) and they dry quickly. ... show more

    • It's ok but some improvements would be nice.
First I do like a lot about this set : It was easy to build and the welds look mostly solid. It's comfy. It's on the cheap side. I think for the price it's of acceptable quality for the most part. However I did rate this 3 stars. Mine came damaged. It had a couple of decent sized dents that I have to fix. Also one of the corners was damaged and had exposed metal so there is a rust concern there. I contacted the seller and was able to work out a partial refund. The bolts didn't hold tight so there was some rock to it. I was able to resolve this though but required some work on my end. I had to bang out the dents which I was successfull at. It will require some bondo, sanding, and paint to fully resolve. I couldn't get a solid answer from them on the paint color to match, just was told dark gray. I think this could be a solid option for a lot of people but they did a poor job packaging it so it can be easily dented in shipping. Sending this back is a hassle. I am hoping this holds up. I'll try to update this in a year or so. ... show more
