Its slightly pricey for what it is, but they were good, easy to make (way less messy than I anticipated) and fun. Got it as a birthday gift for my niece and we made them together. She (12) was able to do most of it by herself but had a little trouble wrapping the dough over the ice cream. Make sure you freeze ice cream overnight. Tried both overnight and freezing for just 2 hours and they were way easier to wrap the dough on the frozen overnight ones. Would be nice to have 2 of the ice cream molds.

My husband is a practical guy. He doesn’t like a lot of clutter and junk lying around even if it was given with the best of intentions - so, I’ve started gifting him experiences. He loves cooking and exploring cultures through food, so i thought this might be right up his alley ! I know he’ll love it and he’ll come away from this having learned something new about a topic he’s interested in. This kit doesn’t have everything you need, but it’s 2 ingredients you likely have or come across often, so it’s not a huge deal. The instructions are easy to understand and clear cut. This is a great little gift !

This kit is a cute idea, and my daughter had fun making it BUT I would not buy it again. It is WAAAYYYY overpriced! The instructional video was great and helpful, especially for kids. But, when you open the package all you get is a bag of Sweet Rice Flour (maybe 2+cups) a bag of Potato Flour (maybe a cup) and (2) approx 1 tsp pouches of flavoring (one cocoa powder, one matcha tea) and one round cookie cutter. As you can see, these ingredients/tools maybe cost $5-$10. You have to provide your own ice cream which is the main ingredient. If this kit was $20 it would be more appropriate and you would feel less taken advantage of, but this is way overpriced for 4 ingredients and a cookie cutter.
