This jacket is cozy! It has a nice soft fleece lining that keeps me nice and warm. It isn’t cold enough out yet but I am looking forward to the colder weather now! The outside is a raincoat like material with pockets, smooth zippers and the ability to adjust the waistline with an elastic cord on the inside, if desired. The only downside is more comical than a real issue - I don’t understand why the hood is so big! I don’t know any human who has a head that big! It is fully adjustable with elastic cords so I can definitely cinch it to my size but it’s just a lot of extra material to cinch down. Definitely not a deal breaker and more funny than anything! Overall, this is a nice heavyweight rain jacket. It says lightweight, but it is VERY heavyweight as far as rain jackets go. It is so heavyweight that it even breaks a plastic hanger when you try to hang it up. It is also VERY warm, as it has a thick fleece lining. Upon trying it on I immediately said that it would be a good jacket for skiing, snowmobiling, or similar outdoor winter activities. Only taking off one star for a few reasons. First, it runs small. I typically wear a 2X or 3X in women's tops and order a 3X or 4X in women's coats so that they can fit over thicker clothes. I ordered the 26W in this just to be safe. It's a good thing I did, because it fits more like a 3X or 4X and obviously has no stretch to it given the jacket material. Second, I wish the fleece liner was removeable. That would make this coat much more versatile. It is not removeable, so you get hot really easily in it unless it's very cold out or you're out in the cold for prolonged periods of time. Third, the sleeves are a tad short on me, but I'm also tall (5'11"). Fourth, the zipper isn't great. It is just a plastic zipper, so it gets stuck easily. I got stuck in the coat the first time I tried it on because the zipper wouldn't work. It takes some fineness to get it to work, but hopefully that will get better over more use. I was so excited to find something in a rain coat with lining for the “not quite winter” days when you don’t need a coat, but a rain jacket isn’t quite warm enough and there’s no need for sweaters indoors yet. And even with the lining, it’s very lightweight. It zips up easily and is very high quality. My favorite thing about this jacket is the fact that the waist is adjustable using the pull cords, so it’s not so “boxy” looking. ... show more

This one was definitely made for us fluffy ladies! Normally I wear a size 16 or 18, but when it comes to jackets, I usually prefer them to be big so I ordered the size 20. It was exactly what I expected! Big enough to give me plenty of room in case I need to carry a purse or backpack underneath while walking in the rain. Now since I'm in South Texas where it doesn't get very cold and it doesn't really rain much, I know that this jacket probably won't see much action here (if that makes sense). But the fleece lining is really nice and I'm 100% positive that I'll be plenty warm enough with this one. I did take one star off of my rating because I just don't see the reasoning behind having a double zipper. It just doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, but maybe that's just me. I do like that it can be zippered close AND it has button snaps too; gives me the impression of making sure my jacket ain't gonna fly open if it's a really windy day. There's also a nice drawstring around the waist so if I need to cinch in my jacket around my waist, I can. And it's super easy to adjust too! The hood is nice and big too. This is very warm for a rain jacket. I would consider it more like a light winter jacket – anorak style. It is water and wind resistant, has an attached hood, and fits well with an adjustable elastic drawstring at the waist. The lining is cozy plush fleece. I ordered up a size to be sure there will be plenty of room to wear sweaters underneath it, and it is very roomie. I could have ordered the size according to the size chart instead of going up. But it still works, especially because of the drawstring waist. The only thing I have to complain about is that when I push my arms through, the lining gets pushed out of the cuff. I have to take a few minutes to push the lining back in. It’s worse when I have a sweater or long sleeves on. I hope over time that the lining doesn’t get stretched or torn at the shoulder armpit seams because of the stress getting pulled on. The sizing on this seems absolutely right, it isn’t at all sloppy but has a little wiggle room inside. It’s pretty thin material inside and out so isn’t bulky. I appreciate that you can use the toggle to cinch the waistline or not. It’s also fairly warm despite being thin. I just don’t like the materials. The outside is ok, nothing special either way, it’s water resistant but not a premium fabric, per se. The inside material is really cheap feeling, NOT very soft at all, not plush. It’s the thinnest “fleece” I’ve ever seen or felt in a jacket and I’ve worn a lot of fleece. Like dollar store qualify fleece! It feels a bit “sticky” and grabs onto whatever I’m wearing. To charge $50 for this is absurd. I mean they only put fleece on the top side of the pockets, you don’t even get fully lined pockets. Considering returning it. ... show more
