My wife had a small handheld steam cleaner which did a good job but had limited capacity and not really any attachments. We got this to do more and the added attachments really help. So far, have done wallpaper stripping and will be attacking the more stubborn areas of the stovetop soon. I am pleased with this item.

My first test with this was to work on my bathroom mosaic tile grout. I started with the metal extension tube without a brush attachment to check out the power of the steam. There are the power steam settings with the highest setting quite powerful. The steam hit the surface and spreads outward and upward of the surface being hit. With that, I certainly recommend wearing the rubber gloves included. With the long metal attachment and a brush, it affords working a bit further from the steam action and you may be able to skip the gloves. But that would be a personal choice. For that I recommend getting use to the force of the steam and how it reacts to surfaces. The metal rod extender does become quite hot fast, and you won’t be able to touch it with bare hands. It takes a few minutes to cool down after also. I like the length of the hose. The trigger piece is nice, doesn’t become hot, and conveniently has the on/off and the 3 power settings. No controls on the reservoir tank. The tank, when first unpacked, looked small, and I wondered if it would hold an adequate amount of water to do the average job. It does. I did the bathroom grout for about 45 square feet of tile for a mosaic tile, which has more grout lines than square tiles, at the highest settings. I still had one third of the water left, when I finished. I’m quite impressed with this steamer, which includes the many attachments you’ll see on the product page here. Also some tools for cleaning and maintenance. The power cord is a 14 gauge cord. My only minus would be, wishing the power cord was a bit longer. If you need an extension, my suggestion would be to use one that is the same thickness of 14 gauge. Recommended!

I had not seen one of these little steamers until I found this one on Amazon. I would have gotten one long ago if I had known about them. I've used this one mainly in the garage for helping to clean car parts, wheels, & such with less scrubbing, and without having to use a bunch of solvents. I just used it to clean a small piece of the floorboard I cut out of my old SUV to make a removable hatch for fuel pump access. The metal piece was really grungy on the underside, and had sharp edges, so I didn't really want to handle it much. This steamer helped get off most of the dirt and grease just by working it back and forth over the plate, so reinstalling it was way less messy. It cleaned up well enough to use epoxy on it to attach some flanges for reinstallation. I used the rubber gloves AND some leather welding gloves to ensure I wasn't going to have any unpleasant encounters with the steam or sharp edges. The only thing I might like to have different would be for the machine to have a hose longer than the five foot one, so I could more easily reach and work around certain areas without having to move the tank unit around so much. There doesn't seem to be an obvious way to extend the hose length, so I'm contemplating cutting it and splicing in some extra tubing to see if that will work without loss of steam delivery.

Let me begin by saying that this steam cleaner operates as advertised. It produces steam within a few seconds of being turned on. The tank holds plenty of water and does not leak. The steam cleaner is easy to use, and its instructions are clear. It is generally a well-designed product. It even comes with a pair of very useful and effective waterproof gloves which will protect your lower arms. I have three minor complaints: 1) the tank’s fill lid wants to close when you are adding water to the tank, 2) the hose could be a foot or so longer, and 3) you will need an extension cord in most situations. This product is fine but my experiences with it were disappointing. In general, steam cleaning appears to be overrated. I tried this steam cleaner on a variety of tasks. It did fine with surfaces that were relatively lightly soiled but did not adequately clean much more challenging surfaces (e.g. dirty and rusted HVAC registers and a bathtub that was in dire need of a thorough cleaning). Cleaning the bathtub and surrounding tiles/grout took alternating sessions of steam cleaning and scrubbing with various cleaning products. If you have a good use case, this may be the product for you. However, in my experience, steam cleaning appears to have relatively few use cases where it is worth the trouble (at least for heavy-duty cleaning).

I like the multi-functionality of the steamer. I tried it on multiple surfaces to test how it cleans. I tried it on the pergo-laminate flooring, on cupboards and I also tried it on the front of my car to see if it would kep get off those bugs off the license plate and the front bumper area that the car wash didn't remove. It worked on the license plate and it seemed to work on the front bumper too. I would be careful if using on car paint but it will work. I like the different adapters and functions. It seems to emit quite a bit of water with the steam but it doesn't change the quality of the outcome of what it can do. I also used it to clean a pair of shoes. I sprayed the sides and bottom of shoes and it did work. It also works really good on sticky residue from wrappers on products. After seeing how great this steamer works, I am also looking to purchase a larger steamer for as a floor steamer too.
