I typically use cast iron because they will literally last a life time with care. The enamel coated cast iron are amazing! Much easier to cook with, and clean up is simple. Now these are cast iron, so they are heavy. These may not be the best option for older adults due to that fact. My mother loves to cook with them, but I'll place the skillet on the stove, and handle the clean-up. You can't go wrong.

I simply love this pan. I can't wait to fry some chicken! I originally purchased it to make a LARGE pineapple upside down cake but I couldn't wait to try it out. So pretty I don't feel the need to put it away after cleaning it...and cleaning it is SUPER easy. Cast iron without all the salt and oil to clean and season it!!

I really like this product. I did a lot of research on toxicity in various pans. I used to use ceramic until I learned it's not great and I used cast iron for years until I learned it's not great either and I was terribly frustrated until I found this product. It's pretty and seems to be the safest type pan I can afford. I gave it one less star becuase certain things do stick to it more than I'd like, but its worth it to me to use a product that feels safe. (Side note-when things arent easily being cleaned off I started using steel wool, lightly, and it cleans well without seeming to damange the enamel. Seems pretty hardy) It also takes longer to heat up than aluminum pans of course but that does not bother me since I cooked with regular cast iron for years. Just takes some adjusting. I also like that it is pretty and no concern for rust like an old school cast iron. Oh it's also quite heavy. Doesn't bother me personally but I was surprised!

I bought this in like early 2023 to use for camping/beach trips, I hadn’t had the chance to use it up until last week when I brought it with me off road surfing. I have a Coleman double head stove that I also got from Amazon, I’ve used almost every type of pan on it so far and never had this new problem (it’s the best thing I’ve purchased for myself honestly) I was cooking sausages in this pan with a little water, when it got to boiling point for water the enamel coating of the pan exploded as if I had put something frozen into hot oil. Luckily there was sand all around so I didn’t have to worry about burning anything with the hot pan. I ended up cooking the sausages over the flame of the stove directly if anyone wanted the know I washed off the enamel and we ate them. Probably don’t do that. I haven’t even thrown the pan away yet because I can’t believe it happened. Im thinking either something got on the pan before it was coated with enamel or another defect with the enamel itself. Just be super aware and careful when buying enameled pots and pans because this is a huge possibility of happening. :(

It is a heavy solid pan that takes a bit longer to heat up than my thinner metal pans but it heats up evenly, is a breeze to clean, and as an added bonus the lid from my Lodge Dutch oven fits it perfectly. Would order again.

For the price this is a decent deal on an enameled skillet. However I ordered the gray and the color is literally like a faded purple. Also, the interior enamel is so thin you can feel the texture of the iron through it. It works well. Just the aesthetics aren’t quite up to description.
