I've had many electric mixers but none compare to the superior quality of this Hamilton Beach 6 speed hand mixer. It has a nice weight to it but not heavy & powerful enough to handle thick batters with a 'quick burst' if needed. Included are 2 easy clean beaters, 2 regular metal beaters, 2 dough hooks & a whipping attachment. Having the storage case is a plus so everything is kept together when you're ready to use. The cord is almost 4' long & the convenience of leaning the mixer on the bowl without falling is a blessing. Can't say enough good things about it's performance & with a 5 year warranty, in my opinion I see it lasting a lifetime! Highly recommend!!! ... show more

This is a beautiful mixer. It works great and power is really good. Sturdy machine that makes very little noise. It's able to fit in a cabinet so it's conpactness is perfect. I love this mixer.

Yes, it does start a little fast, but easy to account for this after the first use. Good mixer for the price and appreciate storage container that "locks" onto the mixer. Worth the money.

Solid choice for a mixer and the attachments work perfectly for me. The container is super convenient and everything is easy to clean up. Only issue is that the "burst" button doesn't work. I've tried multiple different times and it never works, but I threw away the instructions so it might just be user error ... show more

I have been using the same Hamilton Beach hand mixer I got as a wedding gift 42 years ago. Decided to donate this one to the lake house, and finally get a new one. I bake ALOT so obviously I also have a KitchenAid stand mixer I use most of the time but for small jobs I like a handheld. This is the FOURTH mixer I ordered before finding one that actually has the power it claims to have. I first ordered a Cuisinart, then a Kitchen Aid, then a different Hamilton Beach, ALL OF THEM HAD NO POWER, not like my 42 year old H Beach. Finally, this one has the power it claims (AND IT WAS THE LOWEST PRICE ONE OF THE FOUR!) only thing I would change is that the lowest speed is not quite low enough when mixing flour etc, but I love the new design beaters and the whip attachment for whipping cream, etc. Overall, a great product that I hope to have for another 42 years. Ha, maybe not quite as I'm now 66!! :) ... show more
