They are so nice and have some weight to them. Unbeknownst to us we had to "season" the pans, but it was relatively easy to do. I've only used them a couple of times but seem to be really nice.

I received this on dec 24. I ordered this pan and the 8 and 10 inch pan together. I received them on same day. The 2 smaller pans are great and work as advertised. The 12 inch pan worked fine for about 2 weeks and then the food started sticking. I contacted flavortown customer service they suggested some cleaning products to remove buildup on the which was only used about 2 weeks. Their suggestion didn’t work so I contacted them for further help have not heard from them after a week. You can’t cook anything without it sticking. ... show more

    • Great - but confusing seasoning instructions

The media could not be loaded. After 3 weeks using this cookware, I would definitely buy it again. = PROS and HINTS = - They are non-stick WITHOUT the need for seasoning (see CONS). Watch my video with the egg. The egg in the video was egg #2 after I had used a tiny (teaspoon at most) bit of butter on the pan for egg #1. The egg slides right off the pan. - Cleanup is easy. Just rinse with water. I use soap, of course, but water get all the food off. We've cooked some tough sauces, rice, etc and so far it all just rinses off. I do not put them in the dishwasher even though the instructions say you can. - I have followed other users' advice and pre-heated the pots/pans first using medium heat. - I have not yet tested the limits of heat - going only to a 6 of 10 on the burner setting, but heat distribution has been good. - Of course the primary reason I bought these was because of the non-stick properties without toxic coatings. And so far that promise has been fulfilled. = CONS = - The Flavortown website is abundantly clear - you do NOT need to season these pans to make them non-stick. Just a little oil or butter when using them and you are good to go. However, the box comes with with instructions that say you MUST season the pans prior to use. Confusing! I suggest you do NOT season them (see PROS). - The Flavortown website support is completely useless. They will not respond to you at all. I emailed them to ask about the confusion with the non-stick description vs instructions and never received a reply. So do not expect them to help at all. - The lids (intended for the pots) are not totally secure on the pans. But they do fit if you need to use them for the pans. - They do not stack well. Storage is a pain. Other sets nestle together nicely. These do not. - The 5 qt sautepan is too big for my needs. It is larger than my largest burner. I'm used to a 4 qt pan. But it still works well and if you need a 5 qt sautepan, then this isn't a problem at all. ... show more

I am 50 years old and I've owned a ton of cookware in my life but nothing has come close to the quality of this set. Not only is it the healthiest version of cookware on the market but it's also sturdy, beautiful, easy to clean and food just slides off of it. Love love love this product!!! I wish I could give more stars. If you don't have it...you need get it ... show more

    • Sticky residue formed after a few months and won’t go away

Bought a year ago first few times I used it. The nonstick was wonderful then there was this dark stuff that showed up on the bottom of the pan in an area and then the next thing I know the whole bottom of the pan is sticky everything sticks to it. It doesn’t feel right. I got the sticky residue removed recure the pan and the sticky residue is right back again don’t have a clue as to what caused this. There’s no scratches on the pan, but there’s a sticky residue in the bottom every time we wash it following their instructions. I’ll go back to my cast-iron and pray that my wrist still hold up to pick it up cause this is almost as heavy a friend is getting me a blue diamond skillet so that I have a larger skillet that a little bit lighter weight and she says she never had a problem like this with her blue diamond. ... show more
