This review is for: myQ Chamberlain Smart Garage Control - Wireless Garage Hub and Sensor with Wifi & Bluetooth - Smartphone Controlled, myQ-G0401-ES, White Summary: Well worth the price, would buy again, good iOS app but no iOS integration (Siri and CarPlay). Review: I really like this product overall. My wife and I have had too many times where we were around the corner and trying to remember if the garage was shut. For example, sometimes a leaf will block the sensor and prevent it from closing at the last moment. I would buy it again because it is so inexpensive for what it does. Setup and installation was easy. The hardest part was trying to determine the color of my garage door opener's learn code button. It looked like it was really close between two colors. Each button color apparently determines what codes the setup tries to connect with. Also check the compatibility on their site before buying! It even supports Amazon's Garage Delivery, which is a nice surprise. It is also nice to be able to open the garage door when around the block. Normally I have to be fairly close to the garage door before the regular remote will actually open the door. If you don't want phone notifications every time the door is opened or closed, the notifications can be disabled or customized to only show if the garage door has remained opened or closed for X minutes. --- And now the part I don't like about it. Keep in mind that it works very well and is inexpensive. Even if one just uses the iOS app it is well worth the price. The iOS integration is nearly non-existent. The app works really well and is easy to use. However, there is no Siri integration, it has no CarPlay integration (seriously??), has no iOS Shortcut actions, and third party apps (like IFFT) can't open or close the door. Only get the status. And those apps either have a monthly subscription and/or are part of a whole home automation package. As I understand, there is a $100 MyQ hub for this product that can integrate with Apple Home (which itself requires more hardware). But the message boards suggest that it will be discontinued shortly. I don't think I would want to invest another $150+ for that. I don't even know if Apple Home would add Siri integration while away anyway. But again, I would still recommend buying this product alone. ... show more
