I received my bunny hutch three days before it said it would be here, which I’m really happy about. It was nicely packaged inside the box so everything was protected. I do wish the package used paper protection instead of styrofoam, as there isn’t any styrofoam recycling where I live, but nothing was damaged so I’m happy. The hutch is so pretty! The bottom pans are not mesh covered, which is why I got this one. I can now order my own special bottom coverings so my bunny’s feet are not hurt from regular mesh. For now I got some woven grass mats to put in there. He has a blast chomping on the mats and they keep him from slipping around in there. The hutch was pretty simple to put together on my own, did take me a bit though because I’m a dork and I kept having to reread the instructions. The quality is really good and sturdy also! The plastic pans in the bottom are nice and deep, I do wish they had like a dresser type track to run on because they do stick just a bit if I’m not being super careful. But they were built in such a way that will definitely be easy to clean. Before this hutch I had a giant one that I actually built myself but I am hoping to move soon and did not want to lug some monstrosity across the state with me. So getting used to the bit smaller size of this one, it is so pretty to look at so that helps. Overall seems to be a good value for what I paid for it. And I did have to contact customer service for some information. They responded super quick! And were very nice! Highly recommend. Also in case anyone needed to know, the wood in this is “high quality fir” as the customer service rep told me. I will try and add photos later.

This is a really nice cage. It has enough room in it for my guinea piece to run around and get a little exercise it takes two people to put together but it was worth it. We really like it

ASSEMBLY TIP! The wood is VERY soft and thin, do not put too much force into putting the screws in. There are no pre-drilled holes for the sharp-ended screws and I do not have a drill, I was able to do it all by hand with a screwdriver. If you are too forceful or I imagine going too fast or hard with the drill, the wood will split (it started to several times with me and I am a small person). People talk about a cedar smell, but this is more like balsa wood. Very nice once it's all assembled, which I was able to do on my own. I'm only deducting a point because as other reviews have noted the mesh on the sides is very very thin and came partially damaged (part was torn free from the bar and there was a small hole). Still fine for my needs as a temporary kitten enclosure while I'm at work. Very nice size, and it's been easy for the kitty to get around the different levels; the "house" door facing the "yard" doesn't stay open on it's own, however, so we've wedged it open with a cut piece of narrow dowel rod. It's lightweight enough to make rolling it around from room to room very easy. As I'm using it indoors, I'm not sure about outdoor use, but the roof at least is treated (AND it flakes badly, just be aware when assembling).

It's a good enough hutch but definitely NOT for outdoors! The wire mesh is so thin, we actually had two panels come in with holes broken in them. (The company made that right) Any predator worth its salt would be able to tear into the wire mesh easily. The wood is very thin as well. The top roof panels do NOT lift up. I saw somewhere that they do, they do not. The only access to that space is 2 small doors, same with the bottom space, so impossible to get a litter pan in that space. Ironically, thats where the hay rack is supposed to be attached. Not a smart design. That leaves the bigger open space to the right. The lid lifts on that, and makes it the only place to get a litter pan into, but also makes it harder to get in and out of the depth of it. But also cannot attach anything to the wire as it is so thin and could rip. I do wish it had more space with the thicker metal fence the doors have, so a better water bottle and food dish could be attached. There really is no space to attach them. I got this originally as it looked the best, sturdiest of all hutches I looked at, but now I'm disappointed. It does the job though, and does give plenty of space for a bunny.

My Rabbit hutch just got in. Love it, very spacious for my bunny. It is easy to put together just make sure you put them together in the right direction lol . User error on my part when I was putting it together I accidentally broke a part but it does not affect the functionality that I need it for.

Cheapest quality you will ever see. The wood is terrible, splits and barely holds the hitch together at the center seam which is the massive weak point of the hutch. I moved it after I built it and it split right down the middle. I had to get extra wood screws I have and secure it to the max. The roof material is a thin 1/8” at best FOAM, easily breakable with your fingers and will not hold up to sun. The trays for waste do not slide in and out smoothly at all, they get locked into place and is a fight to remove. The latches are very cheap, like something you find at a low budget craft store to make a kids birdhouse. All in all, a 100% waste of money and over 1hour to build by myself.

My bunny loves his new home! I have a holland lop who had a similar home before but it was wooden and he chewed on the insides of it. I put this together in less than 1 hour. It is very sturdy, and I just love the steel frame, because it is easy to clean. It comes with convenient removable drawers for easy cleaning also. My bunny never looked for his other house. He just jumped right in and never looked back! If you know about buns you know they don’t like change, however this was a welcome one.
