The hole in the bottom is way too big. A cone filter will likely break. I have to use flat bottomed machine filters in order to have coffee without grounds.

I am so excited I stumbled across this pour over. I gave up looking. I was looking at filters and it popped up. The bamboo caught my eyes and than I read a review saying it fit the flask. I was sold. I thought I’d have to use just the glass part for my flask but the whole thing fits. 👏🏼 The price was great. The pour over I already own is great for using a cup or wide thermal cup but it was a balancing act on the wide mouth coffee flask and would leak down the front. If I used a cup 1st it didn’t pour good and would make a mess. Now we both have our own and we don’t have to wait until the other one is compliantly finishes before we can use it. If I could give more stars I would do that. It’s over the top. ... show more

I used to do pour over coffee with a steal filter that used to clog. The coffee was good. But then my cholesterol went up because you need a paper filter to filter out cafestol. So I went to a coffee machine but I didn't like running hot water through plastic and I wanted to move to glass with a paper filter. This has no plastic, there is a silicone bumper around the glass to protect it, the hot water just touches the glass and the paper filter. I have the coffee go into a large mouth thermos to keep it hot. coffee comes out full of flavor like the steel filter pour overs ... show more
