Great product. Easy to assemble and move around. Very sturdy. Just got done processing a 150 lb + doe. Lifted and held the animal with no problem. Winch system worked great. Wish I had gotten one sooner!

I got this so I didn't have to always process deer at the same place. The first deer I did on it was literally the biggest deer I have ever processed in 50 years of hunting. Without it I would have had to call someone for help. Deer was probably 220 lbs hanging (guts in) had to drag the deer about 50 yards and two of us were quite winded by the time we got it to the barn yard. Just moved the tripod to the deer and cranked it up. Love it!

Works good but a little wobbly. Very easy to assemble it backwards. Hard to store somewhere because you have to break it down. Cable system could be a bit better but it works.

I've used this unit 3 times in the last two weeks. The first time was with a 275 lbs hog, and the unit seemed to work well. The second time was with a 315 lb hog, and it was a struggle to get the cable to crank up - plus I found that the clutch bolt had come lose. By the time I used it on the third hog (275 lbs), the cable was starting to show wear (it really needs some type of guide), and the crank seemed loose. I will tighten all before each use going forward, but might have to invest in additional hoist. The tri-pod itself goes togrther and comes apart quite easily. Perhaps if only used for deer under 200 lbs it would be a 5-star, but with it being advertised as 500 lb, and me having trouble with 300lb, I have to give it a 4-star rating.

Once you ensure all parts are present assembly goes smoothly. I determined when one section was difficult to insert into another section I’d try a different section and it’d go in easily. The holes all lined up perfectly. I wish the legs were spread out more and I guess I’ll find out if it’s a factor. I like it because I can break it down and put in my small truck truck bed and go. You’ll need two wrenches. Make sure you take it with you when hunting too. If there is one thing that’s come in handy is a canvas bag to carry it in. I like this and think this is a good price.

One of my best hunting purchases ever. Pretty easy to assemble despite the minimal instructions. I did accidentally install the crank assembly upside down, but it still worked perfectly well. Resulted in my best skinning job ever. I would suggest larger stakes. The ones that come with are probably perfectly fine, but for piece of mind, I got larger ones.

The item arrived in fair condition. There was some rust spots throughout the hanger and when fully assembled, the hanger is wobbly. I would consider drilling holes into the foot pads and anchoring the hangar down with rebar or something similar. The directions were also vague and werent much help.
