    • No cord?
Follow instructions and it works alright. In it goes, give a slight twist, and out it comes. You may hear a little "crunchy" sound which is fine. Do not, however, keep pushing just to try to get the plug against the rectum. This tool can be used on any deer, but know you'll likely only get a few inches on smaller deer. The one item you need that should be supplied is a rubber band, tie, or several inches of cord or twine! This item should be included as it is necessary. Hence, tying can be difficult because the rectum/intestine sometimes wants to snap back. This issue is also present when the tool does not get a solid grip and only a prong or two are holding the intestine (which still works). If it does snap back, do not re-insert. Simply pull the flab of intestine taut, tie, and cut around the rectum. This tool does make that cut much easier and safer in several ways. For the cost, however, it is plastic and hard to clean. ... show more

I have the shapest knife in the world, or at least those of us that pride ourselves to carry a sharp blade think so.. will not believe how effective this tool is. it IS A TOOL guys and gals. Everyone hates dealing with the hip busting, knifing through the area of the underworld to create a cleanely dressed out deer... This tool will elminate the knifing around or splitting the hip bone or making a nightmare out of the biggest part of the steak area!. How about this - I have a great friend who has his own hunting video web stie for amature hunters filming thier own hunts. This guy is a professional in my opinion and is among the only hunters I know of who just slay deer and big ones all the time. TOP NOTCH. He has been hunting for 35 years. Just last year someone told him to use it and gave it to him. He took a doe 2 weeks ago in MI and forgot he had it in his bag and found it digging for his knife - so he said - "Why not"... He used it. While I finally bought mine just now I had been using my buddys while we hunt a lot together all the time since this came out. I just asked this pro hunting friend if he uses the Butt Out - he turns to me and explains that he used it for the first time and was when he was done could not beleive how effective, clean, easy and all that it was. He simply told me it was just incredibly cool and easy to use. Long thread about a assss out tool - lol BUT - another one of these products that you HAVE to have if you plan to dress any deer or pig etc...it is literally like needing a gun strap if you own a gun or carry case for your bow. This thing is crazy, I had high expectations for it and it exceeded them. Makes the dirty work quick and clean. It’s too bad I didn’t get a picture of it in action. It’s reusable but it’s so cheap I just tossed it and will buy again.
